“ Great Sermon! ”
Such a great sermon. Pride really is a robber of all peace. I second having a transcript of this sermon if possible. Thanks for it.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I was curious what kind of an introduction to this book could be accomplished in under 33 minutes. I was pleased with this as an overview. It will doubtless move some take a look at the book. Archibald Alexander wrote in 1842 that the book may be too abstract for some readers and the points could be reduced to half the number on his own plan. So I would say, read the introductions to all three parts. Especially the first part. But as to the main body of the work, it may be simpler to read Gardiner Spring's Distinguishing Traits of Christian Character - 1829 - that covers the same idea in easier English. Remember the warning of Alexander Allen, an Edwards biographer on this work. A person who can read this and still believe in his own conversion may well have the highest assurance of his faith's reality." 1847 But it challenged such great saints as Edward Payson, so it is worth it.

“ Excellent Sermon! ”
This messages makes us look seriously about how pride is part of our daily life. We see that God should be number one when we do anything and we should not presume we have control of our life. God is sovereign and is decrees or permits all that happens.

A wonderful sermon to remind us of how we can find an answer to all our problems through God's word. Thank you for explaining it all so clearly and turning us to our Father in heaven. So often we just look to our own feeble efforts.

“ A Blessing Sermon! ”
Once we accept that God controls everything in the world and in your life, we can relax that all things are working for your good if you love God and are called by Him. Whatever happens in the world, good and bad, has been decreed by God. Know that and you will not be surprised by anything in your life.

“ Convicting Sermon! ”
This is a sermon full of vision and reality. A powerful reminder about why young people have left and are leaving the church. Surely pastors living in personal compromise, seek rather after their own pleasure, interests, comforts, gain and 'safety', failing to care for the flock's real needs, sickness, or hurts, and omitting to present the whole counsel of God to them. When God states that he is against the 'shepherds', the time is come to urgently die to self, as the sole key to survival or self-extinction. Very relevant. Thanks.

“ Great Sermon! ”
This is a great message indeed. PRAYER is the issue of the day. Nothing else. There needs to be no long discussions about headlines in the news. Prayer for God to raise up a godly generation that seeks His kingdom rule. PRAY according to Psalm 115. Our God who sits enthroned will answer and he will hear. PRAY according to Jeremiah 9:21 For death is come up into our windows, [and] is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, [and] the young men from the streets. Women who have given birth have dreams of that child bringing honor to them. How much more does God feel about the issues facing us today? Who wants to see their child living in the realms of death; seeking the pleasures of this wicked world? We are being entertained by headline news that distract us from calling out to our God who is holy; our God who ordained prayer; our God who promised that His word would establish His will. Pray in this manner ... Mat. 6. He did not tell us to discuss issues to the extent we have thus far. HE TOLD US TO PRAY - Our Father ... thy WILL be done on earth.
