Great Sermon! Thank you so much for reiterating the God's faithfulness to His word!
Oh, that men who espouse replacement theology would believe God's sovereignty over Israel didn't end with the reformation.
He is the God whose promises are irrevocable.
My question is; why are Christians celebrating Xmas in the first place? We are certainly not told to practice the Lord's birth as we are to love His death and resurrection. The problem is many people are in love with the little thing in the manger, never to grow up, never to be His disciples, not many are interested in eating the Lord's flesh and drinking His blood, most importantly not many are in love with the 'crucified risen' Lord, they only love 'the baby.' The baby is not going to demand anything from them, he's harmless and passive, this they can control and love without any demands. After the celebration is over the baby and all of the colorful regalia is carefully packed away until next year. God have mercy on our passive religion.
One thing I'm in agreement with concerning these goings on; we as believers are commanded to be kind to all men, and we are to show love exhibiting compassion to all men. But! When it comes to cultivating dialogue with people who claim to have been born-again and they still want to wear the LGBT jacket, I have a real problem with that, it's seems as if someone is still wearing their 'grave clothes' which perfectly fits the unredeemed not the 'new man'. Has the bride of Christ lost sight of God's truth? It maybe very well for all of us to examine ourselves, keep our focus letting God's word and the Holy Spirit navigate our hearts not the warm fuzzies. Read Romans 6!
Great Sermon! That is my kind of preaching, rightly dividing the word of truth!
I shout for joy each time I hear the word of truth spoken with God given power, which is not quite often.
Keep preaching in spirit and in truth!
Great Sermon! Pastor Hoggard,
I just wanted to let you know the impact of your message has opened my eyes to a lot of that which is demonically hidden.
It has led me cry out to God for my unkown adherence to sin against God.
How far are we from the God of the Bible, but thank God for His gift of love; Jesus!
Great Sermon! I was wonderfully blessed by your sermon!
Two weeks ago the Lord granted me insight into Hebrews 10:26-29 and God through His mighty Spirit confirmed it by your sermon concerning the Roman Catholic Church! Amen, Brother, Amen!
