Presby is much closer to your church's practices. If you want converts you will find potential aplenty in Anglican and Presby circles.

Calvin in another place, still responding to the Council of Trent, says:
"We, too, acknowledge that the use of baptism is necessary - that no one may omit it from either neglect or contempt. In this way we by no means make it free (optional). And not only do we strictly bind the faithful to the observance of it, but we also maintain that it is the ordinary instrument of God in washing and renewing us; in short, in communicating to us salvation. The only exception we make is, that the hand of God must not be tied down to the instrument. He may of himself accomplish salvation. For when an opportunity for baptism is wanting, the promise of God alone is amply sufficient."
Converts to the Roman Catholic Church come from every religion and even no religion.

You've provided some great and classic quotes to remind Evangelicals of these ancient truths, especially, since "[Evangelicalism is] in a serious, serious spiritual decline" (Reformed Baptist Pastor Phil Johnson).

But they will overlook systemic corruption in their church and leave vulnerable kids to be abused. And they will forbid the clergy to marry, contrary to the word of God! Hurrah for such a "true Church"!
Although some priests allowed the sacrifice of children to Molech, it is an evil that some NT priests, out of self-serving motives, have hurt children. You're very right to point this out about the Church.

Everyone to whom much is given, much is required.

Sigh. NYP, Lurker...please.If you want the Roman Whore running your lives writ large, move to Vatican City or some RC country where they have not lost their ancient AntiChristian ambition of usurping kingdoms with the Mystery Religion. We in American have enough troubles. At least your father honest enough to get back to the roots of his AntiChristian religion &recognize Trent. Your last father allowed us Prots a place at his table. I guess the world spirit was moving that direction at the time - funny how that happens when you follow the world & its evil leader, huh? By the way, which do you Romies believe is right?
Anyway, the Republicrats have a Smith cult member, a Papal cult member, a sodomite endorser, a fellow who can't figure out where he is most of the time, a few random stragglers, and a crazy lady.
In a democracy, you vote for the best candidate even if he's not in your "denomination." Catholics have been doing this for centuries.

Abortion - A Common Practice?

More Sermon Details:

“China may very well have grown the largest Christian church population on earth, but China has a problem! 100 million people make up a growing, thriving church in China except for one little problem — they kill their children. Some churches even pay for abortions. The conscience of this nation is dead cold with respect to human life, and the Christian church isn't helping much. But what can these Christians do?

"The first pro-life ministry in China is being launched, and this may be one of the most important Christian needs on the earth today. Kevin Swanson interviews an insider who has first-hand information on the inner workings of the house church movement (representing some 100 million people). This remarkable interview statuses one of the most important developments for the kingdom of God in the 21st century.”

Calvin writes in his 1547 Antidote to the Council of Trent:
"We assert that the whole guilt of sin is taken away in baptism, so that the remains of sin still existing are not imputed. That this may be more clear, let my readers call to mind that there is a twofold grace in baptism, for therein both remission of sins and regeneration are offered to us. We teach that full remission is made, but that regeneration is only begun and goes on making progress during the whole of life. Accordingly, sin truly remains in us, and is not instantly in one day extinguished by baptism, but as the guilt is effaced it is null in regard to imputation. Nothing is plainer than this doctrine." (Reply to the First Decree of the Fifth Session)
1560 Scots Confession of John Knox teaches regarding baptism:
...so we utterly condemn the vanity of those who affirm the sacraments to be nothing else than naked and bare signs. No, we assuredly believe that by Baptism we are engrafted into Christ Jesus, to be made partakers of his righteousness, by which our sins are covered and remitted..." (Chapter 21)
More evidence to jump into the Catholic fountain. The water's fine.

Roman Catholicism is antichrist, the antichrist. This is plain.
Light has its stated oposite, darkneness, light, sweet, sour, truth, eror, etc. So who sits opposite Jesus Christ, and who sits opposite the Church of Jesus Christ? There is only one system that declares itself opposite to Christ, that being Roman Catholicism, a system that states that none can get to heaven unless born in The Mother church, in contrast to the invisible church of Jesus Christ. All the offices that the Pope (singular) takes to himself are those of Jesus Christ, a Pope that declares he cannot die, that only the body dies and himself passes to the next Pope.
If there is no direct opposite to Jesus Christ then it stands that Jesus Christ cannot have come in the flesh, as all things in this world have their opposites.
With a Crucifix above every Catholic altar, labeling it anti-Christ is about as logical as calling Wal*Mart, anti-star.

Please review Reformed Pastor Kevin Swanson's messages on SA to discover the "thriving" underground church, is literally paying cash-money for members' abortions.

Not too "thriving" if you share the Gospel then murder your future members.

Except for the part where it is implied the real Jesus derives from the Nicene Creed. Can you show where he taught baptism causes remission of sins?
Excellent observation:

"Confiteor unum baptisma in remissionem peccatorum" (c. 4th Century).

Many Protestants recite the Creed but don't carefully consider this phrase.

This article reminds us that neither Baptists nor Presbyterians nor Methodists can ever concur with the Church's ancient Creed and Scripture, itself, on Baptismal Grace.

As you noticed, there are many imitators, but one leader.

Thankfully these Bible Christians are endorsing a Christian who believes in the Trinity, the real Jesus (via the Nicene Creed) and truly lives his faith.

Hallelujah!

May he win the Republican nomination over Governor Romney -- one who's understanding of Biblical and Church history are so whacked

[e.g., God came from Man;
Jesus is Satan's brother;
1,700 year Church apostasy;
Eden, Jesus & Moses were all in Missouri;
You become a god after death;
You have sex with your many Celestially-sealed wives (who you secretly married at your local Mormon Temple -- but while on Earth, with whom, you didn't have sex) after death;
You populate your own family-planet after death;
etc.],

who could trust him as President?

Hmmm.
How do you even define who's "Evangelical" or not?

Since Dr. Trueman is not an "Evangelical" (according to you and, therefore, he would be eternally damned) how do you define who's an "Evangelical" (that is, who's eternally saved) or not?

If Governor Romney were President, as the leader of our children's education department, and if honest about his religion, he would teach them that Christianity didn't exist for 1,700 years until his prophet, Joseph Smith, recovered Christianity.

He'd also be willing to teach his Mormon "truth" to American children that Missouri was the Garden of Eden location and where Jesus Christ (of Nazareth) saw Moses (of Egypt).

And he's the leading Republican candidate?

Have conservative Christians (who make this possible) plumb lost their collective mind?

"[Judge] Metzger’s opinion noted that since the dispute erupted, the state denied a portion of the organization’s tax exemption relating to the piece of property, because it “was not available on an equal basis.”"

Please pray this recommendation is overturned. If not, it could open a ]]Pandora's box of Christian persecution.

If so, what are its boundary markers?

True.

However, facts (e.g., the speed of light), can be determined and understood apart from faith.

For example: The exact day the Universe was created is a fact, though unknowable to us at this time.

This is no answer to my assertion that the RCC Catechism endorses Darwinism & contradicts the Genesis creation account. Trying to divert attention to other disputed subjects (which I have answered rationally elsewhere) is a trick that won't fool me.
Though, Jesus could’ve taught exactly when the Universe was created by naming the particular day, He didn't.

And He could've taught exactly how the Universe was created by delivering a sermon going into exquisite (and thrilling, no doubt) detail how a googolplex stream of subatomic particles were orchestrated by Him to form the Universe, the Earth, Gravity, Day and Night, all of Life and the Soul.

[It would’ve been great if this sermon were preached so the Church could’ve (eventually) posted His PowerPoint slides at Vatican.va for all interested parties.]

But, alas, He didn't do this either.

Many answers may have to await Heaven.
