Which Apostle’s Creed is Mohler affirming? The one that says “He descended into hell” or the one that says “He descended to the dead”? Which one is the original? Moreover, can either be actually shown from the Bible?
I looked at the RationalWiki link, but I don’t trust the information there. For example, they rate the BBC “Very high” for the quality of their factual reporting, but it’s common knowledge here in the UK that the BBC is pushing a cultural Marxist agenda and is run by leftists. I don’t trust BBC news at all and I seldom watch their programmes.
I stopped attending church two years ago because I grew tired of the worldly worship and dubious teaching. At one popular church I attended in Barnstaple, the worship band started playing electric guitar solos and acting like rock stars. That church now allows women to preach and is more concerned with carrying out mission work in sunny climes than with feeding the sheep on their doorstep.
Suffice it to say that SermonAudio has been a great blessing to me and I use it every day.
I live in North Devon in England and while it’s true there are many churches here, there are few Bible-believing ones. The churches tend to be worldly and closer to social clubs than actual houses of worship. Suffice it to say that women pastors abound.
From the article: However, the BBC Press Office told The Christian Institute at the time: “We take religion incredibly seriously”, pointing to senior appointments and its ongoing discussions with religious leaders.
This is actually a lie. Like all leftist organisations, the BBC only takes ONE religion seriously, and that religion is, of course, Islam (Muslims tend to vote Labour).
The BBC has been openly promoting cultural Marxism for years in their serious dramas, in their soaps, in their so-called family entertainment shows, in their news reporting and in their reality TV programmes. Even their coverage of sport has a homosexual agenda. When terrorist attacks are carried out by Muslims they will always use euphemisms to hide the fact, and they seldom carry stories about atrocities committed against Christians abroad. As a public service, they are supposed to be impartial, but they are plainly anti-Brexit and plainly anti-Trump. I no longer watch anything the company produces, but still I am forced to pay for it via the licence fee (if I legally wish to watch any television at all).
We have no Brexit here. We have no serious political representation. We just have open borders and political correctness gone mad. Islam is looking like our Babylon. This is a dead place.
