Pastor Steve of River of Life Church that I attend on Sunday mornings believes I am saved and thus have repented or else I would not have been Baptized via immersion on 21 May after worship. I am considered to be saved by the entire congregation of River of Life Church.
Don't mind the detractors John, the lost are jealous of your salvation

""Wheaton College is a conservative institution that requires its teaching staff to affirm a belief in a historical Adam and Eve, though they can teach animal evolution.""

This is how far they have fallen, they can still be considered 'conservative' while teaching evolution. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, the local PCUSA pastor thinks he is a conservative while supporting same sex marriage

Deuteronomy 7:6   For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

Deuteronomy 7:7   The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

Deuteronomy 7:8   But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

  Deuteronomy 7:9   Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

I was wondering...Suppose there was a member of your church and the rumor was that he was a drug dealer. No proof mind you, just rumors. And let's suppose the police came to a deacons meeting and said he was as drug dealer but they couldn't prove it. What would your church do? What do you think the pastor would? Or the deacons? What should happen in a case like this?
Depends what his name is

If his name has 4 letters and starts with a D, the Church should just expel him and move on especially if he has a criminal record and was a RCC altEr boy and enjoyed it. Otherwise, the elders need to speak with the accused privately

The Reformation proved the UK could have devout Christian leaders, its just people in the UK really don't want Christian leaders in this day.

I don't know if this fellow is devout, but he seems the type that would correct a misspelling of ceramic when prompted by his iPhone as well as understand the meanings of simple words like alter & altar

The shooter, Hogdinson had been living at the YMCA for awhile nearby and had a kill list of GOP officials. He had been a fan of Sanders and Rachel Maddow. Gateway Pundit reports he was obsessesed with the false Russia-Trump narrative. According to same article at GP his 17 year old foster daughter had doused herself with gas and set herself on fire in 1996. another foster daughter in 2002.

I don’t think sister Ladybug is saying that if you are against abortion, then that means you are part of the body of Christ. Many Muslims and Mormons are against this practice. You are adding to her thoughts and twisting them to suit your ecumenical agenda.
Here is an easy way of understanding this issue. Abortion is the murder of an innocent life and those that support abortion cannot be in the body of Christ because they would be guilty of practicing a sin that is clearly condemned in scripture; namely murder. The same could be said for those who practice and support homosexuality.
In all of her posts, I have never seen her even suggest that any moral issues trumps the necessity of being born again from above. That means the Lord calls us and gives us a spirit of repentance and complete faith and trust in the sacrifice the Lord made on the cross.
I hope this helped.
If I were ecumenical, I would embrace you and ladybug

Did this help?

I care little how much you seek to destroy, belittle, falsely accuse, and attack me. I expect that from those who are outside Christ. Now, meditate on this...
You will perish in your sins unless you believe on the Lord Jesus...now that does NOT include your ecumenical 'jesus', nor does it include your RCC 'jesus'. The Christ of the bible will not give His glory to another, and He alone saves dead in sin sinners like yourself. May God have mercy on you and save you, lest you perish. The fruit you display is rotten; your defense of a satanic religion and desire to push ecumenism is evidence you are not born again.
If the unregenerate spent as much time contemplating their eternal fate as they do pushing godless agendas and attacking the brethren, they just might see the horrors that await them....
Its not all bad ladybug

I was happy you brought to the attention of the board the finding by Irelands finest OB Doctors. Perhaps they are the finest in the world on this subject. If I would have mentioned this study first, its impact might have been limited because their educational platform was RCC teaching

Jesuit troll, FYI - we are not called to 'stop' abortion, for no one can stop the insatiable appetite sinners have for sin. It's no coincidence that both you and Jim L. have this distorted view.
The elect of God are called to point sinners to their sin, then to the Savior.
Now, let's talk about your unregenerate state.
I disagree with Jim on almost every issue: Bible versions, Theology, Politics etc...But I agreed with one thing he said, he said you should seek to be born again

Since he is a dispensationalist, you have a chance with him. Me? No, I know a reprobate when I hear one

Again, comprehension alludes you. So, let's try another quote from that same link - Everett Koop, M.D., former U.S. Surgeon General:
I like Dr Koop, but even he wasn't strong enough to use his political power to stop abortion. He only gave lip service. 1.2 million abortions per year in the US, only 26 per year in Ireland

Yep, the ones guided by Catholic Pro Life principles

You just Blessed Catholicism again Balaam

Let's try again, this is not about what religion one adheres to, it's about the medical profession stating killing a baby to save the mom is not necessary. {FYI - the quote was among many found at https://www.nrlc.org/archive/abortion/pba/HowOftenAbortionNecessarySaveMother.pdf}
Did you get that? 'Medical profession'. By your logic, I should avoid going to any hospital that may be owned by the RCC, or any business that is operated by those who practice their dead religion. See how foolish you are? Now, go wipe that egg off your face
P.S. - one needs a little humor when dealing with Jesuit troll....
I just found it very funny that is was obvious you didnt understand the healthcare system in Ireland. Even a generation ago Irish religious beliefs governed many aspects of state policy, like healthcare. Irish nation structure often deliberately emphasized the importance of Catholicism intertwined with Irish-identity as opposed to other Western tradition like US, Canada, Anglo-Irish, or British traditions.

You are Blessing Catholicism yet again

Nice try Jesuit troll, another deflection from Satan's minion. You and Jim L. have something in common. Do you support murdering babies as well?
Now, take careful note and put on your 'thinking cap' ------- What is being promoted is the fact that abortion is NOT necessary to save the mother's life - https://www.nrlc.org/archive/abortion/pba/HowOftenAbortionNecessarySaveMother.pdf
‚ÄúStatement by Obstetricians,‚ÄĚ - these folks are doctors first and foremost, and their statement is based on that, and NOT on what 'religion' they are.
Another 'key phrase' from the quote, "no medical circumstances" so you see troll, this is NOT about your dead religion, the RCC.
Another common thread you share with Jim L., an 'accuser of the brethren' - that is what Satan's minions do.
Personally I don't think you were able to put 2 and 2 together when you quoted these 5 'best' OB Docs in IRELAND. You just went to a Pro Life website for some ammo to use against Jim L. Not realizing it, you just Blessed Catholic Educated Doctors and their studies

You are like Balaam

Irish Catholic OB docs now promoted by ladybug. And one, Dr Eamon O'Dwyer, is a HUGE defender of the RCC against Child Abuse claims

Edited for space, defending his RCC congregation 'Christian Bros'

""Madam,
As one, most of whose first- and second-level education was provided by Christian Brothers, I write in their defence.

In none of these did I observe any pupil being subjected either to abuse or violence by teachers. ..For my part I am proud to have been one of their protégés. Instead of vilifying them, Irish people should be forever grateful. -
