Free Christian Resources About Birth Control If any one is interested in further study about birth control, especially the classic Protestant position, please see all the free Protestant MP3s, Quotes, etc., at http://ow.ly/ucop7 "THE BIBLE AND BIRTH CONTROL (FREE REFORMATION RESOURCES)". Following is one quote taken from this page: "We have found not one orthodox theologian to defend Birth Control before the 1900's NOT ONE! On the other hand, we have found that many highly regarded Protestant theologians were enthusiastically opposed to it, all the way back to the very beginning of the Reformation... those in favor of Birth Control will find no one in the orthodox Protestant camp for the first four centuries to ally themselves with." - Charles Provan, The Bible and Birth Control, p. 63.
Great Sermon! Albert Mohler addressed the 9Marks Conference Friday on "An Evangelical Theology of the Body? Biblical Theology & the Sexuality Crisis." He warned that like the major heresies of Gnosticism and Arianism of the first centuries, we are in a time of moral heresy. (P)
He noted that "Pope John Paul II brought us the Theology of the Body and we, too, need a Theology of the Body and we need it quickly." (P) Mohler said young people are discovering that new words like lesbian, IVF, SSM, birth control and m@sturb@tion are not in their concordances but when they turn to Google, they don't get a biblical answer to their most challenging questions. (P) He sees a loss of our Christian children to secularism because we don't have anything like a systematic theology of the body. Mohler said you can no longer tell the young to "look up these five verses, pray over them and you'll understand this [sexual] issue." (P) "Evangelicals need a Bible-based Theology of the Body, similar to Catholics'," Mohler said.
Great Sermon! this actually started 50 years ago,1964 (in earnest)GOD allowed the Great Depression (the 1920's were a wild time) to save IMO, America, and then Israel. and two years from now, Rosh Hashanah will be 5777
Excellent, excellent sermon! Yes, God's Law is our guide and rule for living.
First: Transgression of the Law is sin. We are not to continue in sin. Ergo: We are not to transgress the Law.
Second: The Law instructs us how to live. How could those who call Christ "Lord" not walk according to His instruction?
Third: God tells us that His Law is holy, just, righteous and perfect. How could we think differently - if our thinking is conformed to Christ's?
Yes, let us unabashedly and unhesitantly proclaim through words and actions that God's Law - the Law of liberty - is holy, just, righteous and perfect.
This is the answer to and antidote for the apostacy gripping the world; this is the wherewith for the discipling of the nations.
Amen, Kevin, amen!
Please continue to pray for those of us who live where one is not free to teach one's children at home.
True Biblical Teaching This is an outstandingly excellent sermon! This is true, biblical teaching on the role of the wife in God's order and on the importance of a mother's example on her daughter(s). Listen to this teaching and then get out God's Word and start applying it as it is written without any of this "not applicable to our times" mumbo jumbo. You and your children will be glad you did.
Great Sermon! Women becoming Muslim, is not surprising!! (it came 600 years LATER)
This is what modern liberalism BROUGHT ON when MEN stop being MEN, and since marriage has LOST, to homosexuals
females who are babies and tots today, may just be OK with polygamy in 2025 or 2030
ah , the passive voice==GOD never forces himself, BUT after you die....
Great Sermon! Thank you for that sermon. Just when I was feeling overwhelmed by all the treachery within the Church our country and even in our own family the Lord sends His message of comfort through this sermon. Praise His Name! I have been singing more and more but had not realized the significance of these old hymns being pressed through me.
God Bless you and keep up the good word. We are all going to feel the squeeze before it's over.
Great Sermon! Very good commentary on the U.S. culture of death, paganism and barbarism. Also, can you post historic references corroborating Luther's accusation that some Italian monks introduced homosexuality to the German people? Luther's assertion seems to stretch credulity beyond the breaking point.
