Great Sermon! Dr. Martin Luther said "sin boldly" but this flies in the face of "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). He further wrote: "No sin will separate us from the Lamb, even though we commit fornication and murder a thousand times a day." Since justification and sanctification are a unified lifelong journey, isn't Luther's advice the worst kind of malpractice, malpractice on the soul?
Great Sermon! Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by being cursed for us
HOW DOES MALACHI 3 APPLY TO CHRISTIANS IN THE AGE OF GRACE! I agree we should give Jesus our hearts, mind and soul but Malachi was spoken to Jews under the curse of the law, not the redeemed under grace.
Great Sermon! I have learned much from this audio sermon. One is that Paul received comfort from God with the great trial he has experienced. And this happened to him because he received grace and peace from God which is the basis of his good relationship with Him.
Kevin, your sermon message is an anointed one.
Great Sermon! I think the silly feminist movement WILL push American women into polygamous marriages because they don't know that MEN are different than women and WE NEED TO HAVE MORE MEN DISCIPLED to become husbands! they're not enough men to go around for modern women
Great Sermon! I have some good Christian friends who are Presbyterians. We can pray together and we can worship together to some degree, but we can never come together in real unity if either of us hold true to our doctrinal confessions of faith.
Wonderful message! Here is a needful word for the hearts of young men and women - a call to carefulness in matters of love, in contrast to a loose and careless world. Pastor Swanson's introduction contains a beautiful tying together of the law and gospel.
Great Sermon! Thank you for this message; it is another confirmation to what the Spirit revealed to me some time ago. It may not be popular, but it is true. Please pray for my humility as I serve the Lord. I don't want to displease him. Also please pray with me to find a church home. I liv ein Tacoma, WA. Most preaching here is centered around money and building programs. I am not against either but, something is amiss. We should be drawing closer to God through prayer and the word. I am hungry for God. I don't care about the material blessings. I had it all and it left me empty.
Strategies for Forward Movement with Christ Wow! I've been listening to Pastor Kevin Swanson on Generations Radio for a long time. However, this is the first sermon I listened to. Truthfully, it's a life-changing experience. My pastor preached today about an active witness and the church militant. Kevin's sermon took that idea to the next level. I can't really give a "review" of this sermon. I can only think that it has the power in it the way those sermons of George Whitefield or John Wesley must have had power. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Thank you Kevin Swanson.
