Objections dealt with in this sermon Very helpful sermon. It covers "3 of the most common objections to the doctrine of infant baptism". The objections covered in this sermon are:
1 - There is no express command in the New Testament to baptise infants.
2 - When a baby is baptised, we have no way of knowing if that child will ever believe.
3 - What is the point of baptising a little baby who cannot understand what is happening?
Great Sermon! Thank you for sharing this message. If we believe the words in the Bible Isaiah 17 and 19 will be fulfilled and per the Bible this is to glorify God. They will turn to Him only after this takes place.
‚ÄúBlessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.‚ÄĚ -Isaiah 19:25
Why are some using this pulpit to criticize and spread their political ideologies. We are Christians above all. Preach Jesus Christ Lord and Savior, preach repentance and let God do what He has already told us he will. We don't have a say. In these times we must also not forget Isaiah 8:12-13.
Great Sermon! Great and concise sermon. I have been studying tithing for some time now and felt this covered a lot. The focus is being a cheerful giver but not necessarily money as many isolate out. Give all (food, time, love, money) with a goal of koinonia so none of our brothers and sisters in Christ will lack as was done in the early church body. The only thing I would like to mention is that although the new testament doesn't speak much of tithes I do not believe tithing or any of the Mosaic laws should be encouraged unless Galatians 3:10-14 and Galatians 5:1-6 are also taught in full. I personally would encourage giving as God places on our hearts but not tithing and not focus on money alone. Be blessed and finish the race strong.

I can tell that you are the same person who posted within another thread under the name "wierdo". Seems to me that you keep writing different comments using different names to make it appear as though you have other supoorters on your side. I would be more than happy to discuss whatever makes you angry but as usual, you never post up any solid facts because you don't have any. You can't even lend examples to your posts. I think you are most likely a regular poster here who is changing their name to avoid conflict because you are one of those cowards who can only call someone a name while you are driving by them at 80mph so they can't catch you. By the way, your style along with the content of your posts tell me that you are a fairly unintelligent person. I can't respect that enough to answer you again.
Well thats funny! Because as you know Tinkerbell is accusing you and your friends of doing just that. An ex addict such as yourself would be able to recognise the even worse addictions the internet can foster. SermonAudio Forum is a bit like a drug dealer.

This idea of post birth abortion was presented by Australian based ethicists and based on comments I have heard is actually happening in Australia. It is legal in the Netherlands. In Australia, it is not legal to perform abortions on a whim, but if a woman claims it would affect her mental wellbeing (eg being financially stressed, etc) then it abortions happen. Again while being illegal I have heard academic women claiming that they had children of the wrong sex aborted. So why the surprise!
I worked for a research company into "hormone research"and it was very clear that this was an area where lots of money could be made - some people are almost addicted to sex and to make a drug to enhance their performance or pleasure is seen as a way to print money.
I left and worked for a "leading wine organisation and left as they passed contaminated wine (with a known carcinogen) for export. YEs, the US got some of that!
This is a 'Must Listen' sermon! In a day and age of rampant feminism, it's refreshing to hear Pastor Hamilton defend this time honored, but more importantly, Biblical command for the ladies to cover their heads at the meetings. I am glad he addresses the "Hair is the covering" argument which is a nonsensical interpretation and does not hold up under exegetical scrutiny. This teaching needs to be shouted from the housetops in our day and age, but sadly most pastors are too cowardly to even mention it. Thank you Pastor Hamilton.
John uk says And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see THE DAY approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV

Thank you John for the wonderful recommendation we all thank you for your wisdom and now you owe 2 apologies John ,just by chance should you receive a phone call from Bernie Madoff from his "CELL " phone ...just hang up then you won't be duped into buying anything.
One last time, let us go to Ezekiel 7. It says in Ezekiel 7:6-7:
An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come. The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near…
It is coming. It is coming for each one of us. This day cannot help but come and it is coming very quickly. It is approaching rapidly.
I really hope that no one is thinking, “Well, I hear all of these things, but I am just not ready. I am just not ready. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, maybe in a month, maybe ,maybe,maybe...
This is really presumptuous of anyone and it is very dangerous. This is indicating that what you are really saying is, “I want to continue in evil and in the things that I want to do, and I do not want God to interrupt me.” Yet they will say, “Well, maybe I will try to turn when it gets closer.”
What they are failing to realize is that they cannot turn. This is not in their control. This is not under their power. This is why there should not be any delay from today. Today is the day of salvation. God does not say that tomorrow is the day of salvation.
For those who speak to Numbers a short study in the matter.
The Electronic Bible Fellowship ‚Äď Numbers Timepaths and God‚Äôs Use of Numbers in the Bible
Countdown to the Day of the Rapture: 500 days 18:39:36 2011.
Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. In this time of the end when God is opening up the Scriptures, the child of God realizes like never before that the numbers of the Bible are perfectly accurate and possess extreme importance. God has built the framework to the timeline of history upon the Bible’s numbers. All of the significant events of Biblical history are connected by interrelating numbers. It is in recognition of these facts that EBible has developed this numbers page. Timelines and studies pertaining to the numbers of the Bible will be offered here. There is no glory in Sardis with all the unsaved people there. God already called it a dead church. There is no glory in that church because it was a dead church even though God admitted there were still a few believers in it. The glory is in the true believers who are part of the eternal church. And you know, God is very, very kind to us by giving these kinds of illustrations so we don’t misunderstand what God is saying. Now, what complicates matters today is that church leaders believe that because someone has become a member of the church and is allowed to partake of communion and has been baptized in water and has made confession of faith, they may assume that person is saved. But who knows whether that person is saved? The church didn’t get him saved. They didn’t get themselves saved. Only God can save. I’m sure in the church at Sardis they thought they were all saved, and in the church at Ephesus where they lost their first love and the church at Laodicea, which God was ready to vomit out. They thought they were all saved. But they weren’t.
For those who believe that Jesus Christ is the HEAD of the corporate church, perhaps a bit more study may be of help.
. . . I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Now, the gates of hell have to do with the wrath of God. Hell is the penalty that we endure because of our sins, and anyone who is unsaved is subject to the wrath of God. The gates of hell have a claim on him. But the church that God is talking about in Matthew 16 consists of all true believers, and they, of course, are not under the wrath of God any longer. The gates of hell cannot prevail against them. On the other hand, when we read about the church in Sardis in Revelation, we find that it is made up of many members but only a few are true believers. That means that the gates of hell still have a claim on many who were in that local church. They were not true believers. There were a few that the gates of hell do not have a claim on, and they are true believers. They are in the eternal church that continues, and that is the church God is talking about in Ephesians Chapter 3, verse 21, where we read, ‚ÄúUnto him be glory in the church.‚ÄĚ In what church? In the eternal church. so what church is Christ the head of? To be continued...
ontinued from last comment From these verses we learn that during the church age there would be a great curiosity concerning the time of the end, but believers were not to be at all preoccupied with this question. They were to concentrate and focus all of their attention on the task of bringing the Gospel to the whole world. Therefore, regardless of how brilliant or how learned a theologian or Bible student might have been, or how diligently they studied the Bible or faithfully served Christ, it was impossible to learn from the Bible the timetable for the end of the world. Nevertheless, there is a very striking statement in the Bible. It is recorded in Ecclesiastes 8:5. There God declares:
Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth [better translation: will know] both time and judgment. In the Bible a wise man is a true believer
NOW, THE QUESTION. REMAINS .Just who is Christ coming for as a thief in the night? the Believers ? or the Un Believers ?
