I had to order this one! This is an amazing encouragement to all believers! Glory, glory to God. He is El Shaddai - All Sufficient One! This sermon demonstrates it straight from the scriptures. Bless you Paster Poss, I pray you remain a faithful servant
Great Sermon! At this very moment my prayer is that you remain a voice for God and to remain faithful. Blessings on you, your family, your flock and your studies.
God is good! Thanks so much for your kind & encouraging words--I thank God for His saints at the Bread of Life Fellowship! What a blessing from the Lord that I'm able to listen each week & follow along with my brothers & sisters so many miles away, as pastors Joe & Bill preach the Word! Feed the sheep, brothers--keep feeding the sheep!
Great Sermon! Thank you for sharing some scriptures that most Preachers skip over. This sermon makes you think about how you are not as good as you think you are, and that the penalty for sin is much worse than we care to think about. Thanks for reminding us that this is serious.
AWESOME Sermon!!! "Many are called, Few are chosen." Why do some come to faith and some do not? Listen to this Bible study and Learn the biblical answer. Thank you for this teaching.
Great Sermon! Instant Health and wealth, OR continual Humility and Growth in Holiness? Listen to what God has done for us so that we may become sanctified.
Great Sermon! Well worth listening to. Do you like hearing about other people's sin, and how they will be judged? What about your own sin? This is a good sermon to listen to. We all need to look in the mirror and see ourselves, and not focus so much on the sins of others.
Very difficult, but important message This is an especially good sermon for those of us who have been Christians for many years. It seems "The Pride of my Heart has deceived me" Very convicting, which led to repentence. Thank-you.
Yes! Father, please take our sight away if we are content to set our gaze upon anything in this world when we have the promises of being like Christ and of being with You forever! Amazing God! Forgive us for our discontented hearts and make it true of us that we are "content to be nothing, for that is what we are."
A sermon to listen too This sermon was very convicting to say the least. I do recommend listening to all three parts. You'll get a better understanding of the message. And of the 1st chapter of Amos.
Timely and Accurate Message If it be a universal and present truth(and I believe it is) that "those who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution" and also that "the world loves its own",why is it popular today in America to be a church-goer? The above words are addressed to posessors of His Spirit and His Truth. They alone will experience such hostility from the world as well as the religious world. Listen and Learn. May God open those ears which He Himself has created.
I was encouraged by this wonderful message. I recently lost my job of 13 years because of my faith in Christ. I scratched my head at others who claim Christ, but never suffered any persecution, and dare not 'rock the boat' for fear of backlash. I praise my God Almighty that I am numbered with the ranks of the great, and this short-term persecution is not even worth dwelling upon. I draw nearer to my Jesus and lean upon His breast, waiting for words of encouragement, which I found in this message, and instructions for what's next!
Thank you for solid teaching! I just listened to your sermon, Witness. (I posted your sermon about modern evangelism on my site, witnessing encouragement.) Thank you so much! I am going to listen to it again (and take notes this time) and I plan to listen also to the one on persecution. Thank you for solid teaching! I love hearing the Word boldly preached.
Thank you Really blessed by the message on Persecution - we too believe that it is coming to our United Kingdom. We are very encouraged to know of your witness in New Jersey.
Yep, rite here rite now Rome, sodom, egypt, babylon, yea thats what it's like to me here in the USA. Everything was ok until I began speaking Gods word daily to everyone. The religious people were the first to put me out and now a messenger of satan delivers an evil report to everyone I meet to hinder fellowship or friendship. It is spiritualy dark all around here and an offensive against followers is definitely underway. Three responses to me directly from everyday people
1st "If you dont like what were doing in america you can just leave" (catholic) 2nd "the bible doesn't matter, there's just good people and bad people" 3rd "one true god, call him what you may" (catholic)
I just began singing again and revival has begun in my soul. Wow what a journey, glad it's real:)
Psa. 119:116
A trememdous blessing It crystalized the understanding of God's will regarding social responsibility as never before. There was often a conflict in my heart as to how God wants us to respond to injustice and suffering. The distinction between obeying His command whether or not we understand His decree was so liberating.
Great Sermon! If I could recommend only ONE sermon for professing Christians to listen to, it would be THIS ONE. From start to finish, salvation is entirely the work of the Lord, even the faith that we exercise. All glory belongs to Him! Pastor Poss speaks about the erroneous view of foreknowledge which says that God looked down the corridor of time and saw who would believe: "Look how subjective, how self-centered that is. How 'ME' that is. 'He looked down the corridors of time and saw MY faith.' That right here, tells you that is a work. If He sees your faith and that's why you're saved and your brother is damned, ... the difference between you and him is your faith; you are back to works-righteousness. ... The object of the divine foreknowledge is not the actions, not the works of certain people, but the people themselves. ... He foreknew YOU, not your actions, but that He foreknew you; He set His love upon you. God has fixed His special attention upon them, or loved them savingly. That's what 'foreknew' means."
Very encouraging This is a very encouraging sermon. It will open your understanding as to why Christians find it a struggle to pray and point you to the remedy.
Wow! What a thrilling and great God we have and what joys we can have in Christ because of God's Glorious Gospel. Thanks again, for the blessing I have received in listening to this, may God continue to bless you and Bill and all the people who worship God at Bread of Life.
