“ Great Question & Answers Session! ” It is always a pleasure to listen to the lessons from Dr. White. This one, however, was particularly touching to me because of the living example he gave of a couple in Phoenix who were comforted with the peace of the sovereignty of God through the loss of a child. As an elder in the church, I too, witnessed this blessed grace through a couple in Scammon Bay, who lost 2 young boys to the Kun River on the north side of our village. This week marks the 2nd anniversary of the boys' death; & the parents' testimony is still, "God is good."
“ An EXCELLENT Sermon! ” In the wake of all the publicity concerning pastor Wiley Drake's praying that abortionist George Tiller's wife would become a widow, much debate has revolved around the issue of the role imprecatory prayer plays in the NT Church. No one who is saved can hear this message and not be blessed and not want to serve and walk in a manner worthy of our Lord and Savior! “ Gripping Sermon! ” A challenging, interesting and practical sermon preached from a difficult and not often preached from text. Why the book of Judges? Because it exposes our human sinfulness and magnifies the righteousness of God.
“ Glorious Message! ” This message will fill the heart of the Believer with rejoicing. Pastor LoSardo is a man filled with Truth, and speaks it from beginning to end. I love where he says a quick prayer in the middle of the sermon - indicating a man who walks and talks with God, whose relationship is uninterrupted. Thanks to DJC49 for recommending this most excellent of messages.
“ Excellent Sermon! ” This teaching is thoroughly Biblical. The pastor gives excellent commentary on the different eschatological views and their history, with balance and brevity. It has been the hope of the Believer since the fall of man for the Kingdom of God to dwell with men - and, so He shall. This is yet to be fulfilled literally.
“ Exceptional Sermon! ” If you are looking for a sermon which fortifies and reinforces your specific eschatological position, then this isn't the one! But if you are looking for a sermon which exalts Christ, God, and His Word and His promises, then this is a MUST sermon for your hearing.
