Yes, the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18 states: Go...teach all nations...teaching them to obey all things whatsoever I (the LORD) have commanded you...

Please don't pass this convicting sermon by. Are you too afraid to hear truth? FEAR THE LORD and walk in righteousness and He will delight in you. Thank You Pastor Poss for a sermon that I'm sure took alot from you.

I love this and want to listen to it over and over. We are indeed not of this world, but we live in it, as unclean as it is. Your CD and the holy scripture are weapons we can use to keep ourselves holy for He is holy.

“ Great point! ”
Thank you for making the well-stated point that Gideon's 300 were not some kind of "super stars." It has often bothered me, how so many commentators have suggested that there was some virtue in the manner in which the 300 drank water. The irony is that they suggest this about a text which emphasizes and teaches man's complete inability and God's absolute sufficiency. Talk about robbing God of glory! This just goes to show the wickedness of man's heart as he continues to seek to find some virtue in himself.

this was extremely helpful to me in explaining Election and Reprobation. It also has prepared me to give Biblical answers to those who come against it. Thank you, Pastor Poss.

The Praise of His Glory
Pastor Joseph LoSardo

“ Awesome! ”
We're going to make a gazillion copies on CD to pass around to some friends. What a perspective altering re-representation of the true 'Purpose Driven Life.' Our purpose to glorify God not for our own sake but for His own. I was thinking too how marriage symbolizes this kind of relationship, in a very meagre way: I love my wife first and it benefits me as she loves me back for my unselfishness - she's closer to me for it, grows more loving and then I love her even MORE. The glory keeps getting routed back to her if the intent is to glorify her on my part FIRST. And with each elevating experience/exchange, the love I feel goes back to her more and more. How much more is the glory we pour out to God for HIS glory to come back on us, not for our sake, but because of how wondrous He appears in that glory? I get it now - Nancy too.

“ Response to Charles froM India ”
Dear Brother, First, I thank you for your observation concerning the sermon on Jesus and Barabbas. I am in complete agreement with you as to the purpose of John's Gospel - and it not being allegorical. Realize, however, that it was not my intention to suggest anything allegorical in the sermon at all. Rather the crowds' choice of Barabbas over Jesus is a perfect illustration of the truth that the will of man will always choose Barabbas, when given the opportunity to choose between a self-salvation and monergistic salvation. I did not mean to suggest that this account was in any way allegorical, but rather illustrative of this truth about human nature. Thank you for listening!

“ purpose of Gospels ”
Apostle John said these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.(John 20:31) Though the example and discription of sermon is Good, i dont think its right thing to use the Gospel as allogery

“ This will happen even more!! ”
Hi friends in Jesus. Yes its true, i think the persecution will meet a BOOM in the next years because everything in this world is forgeting the word of GOD and doing what god hates most. In my job some of the guys already know that i love jesus and they tell me awfull things about god in my front, just to mess with me and i think that every true cristian in the world is being persecuted in some way right now. Sometimes i think about this and i feel fear, fear of dieing in the hands of these god haters. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

“ a very good sermon! ”
To dwell in unity with your brothers and sisters, is written for our benifit in the Bible. Fellowship is lacking in the modern church, it's very superficial. Please give a listen, it's my prayer that true Christian fellowship grows within the corporate Church worldwide.

Great Sermon Audio staff pick today. What a great way to begin the day because later in the day I ran into some difficulties and I was able to remember his sermon. Pastor Poss does a wonderful job exhorting his flock in the examination of Gideon and our calling where we are.

The Sovereignty of God
Dr. James White

“ Great Question & Answers Session! ”
It is always a pleasure to listen to the lessons from Dr. White. This one, however, was particularly touching to me because of the living example he gave of a couple in Phoenix who were comforted with the peace of the sovereignty of God through the loss of a child. As an elder in the church, I too, witnessed this blessed grace through a couple in Scammon Bay, who lost 2 young boys to the Kun River on the north side of our village. This week marks the 2nd anniversary of the boys' death; & the parents' testimony is still, "God is good."

“ An EXCELLENT Sermon! ”
In the wake of all the publicity concerning pastor Wiley Drake's praying that abortionist George Tiller's wife would become a widow, much debate has revolved around the issue of the role imprecatory prayer plays in the NT Church. This is an excellent, balanced sermon on the subject which should help the believer come to a clearer understanding. Thank you pastor LoSardo. May God continue to bless.

One of the best sermons I have heard on this subject. I know too many people who want Jesus as Savior but NOT as Lord. They need to hear this.
