Good to know that others recognize what tale-bearing does. The reporters don't even know that scripture is being violated. The Word of God tells us "... brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you ..." (Php 4:8,9).
This is because they have no understanding; or possibly want to appear more righteous than others. Discord is sown daily. There is a united spirit in their flesh and they feed one another with the same events secular media does; 24/7. Clicks have formed in a way that should not be heard of among the people of God.
Where is our Lord in all of this? He is and will separate the wheat from the tares which have crept into our fellowship (Jude).
These posts are usually not related to prophecy being fulfilled. They cause no incentive, no motivation; generate no love, encourage no prayer and are detached from what the regenerated, born anew creature was predestined to do and be - conformed to the image of Christ. |

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus....[/QUOTE]What a beautiful attitude of these Kenyan pastors.Christians everywhere should pray for this nation unceasingly that the will of our holy, righteous and just God prevail in that nation and other nations. The light has dimmed in many other nations. My prayer is that this nation will lead other nations out of darkness as God blesses them abundantly; as promised. What a blessing they are to the Body of Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord(1Co 15:58). Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving(Col 2:7) May the grace of God be with you all as you stand with the Kenyans. |

Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? (James 3:-11). Go to him in person or write to him. Don't spread something know little about. He does have advisors. Are you cursing them also? |

Christian, I believe you and John Y are one and the same person. Who are the other "Christians?" If you're talking about John, I believe John says he is Catholic.
Most Catholics say that they are Catholics. Let them be. |

We really do need to get back to scripture instead of arguing against the views of individuals. Our weaponry is spiritual, not carnal.
I would like to read more on what our God is dong in the world, the nations, our churches, and our individual lives. I don't buy newspapers or have tv. But we get news headlines each a.m. on the board. If you vote, it is good to know the candidates stand. Christian persecution - encouragement for them. But posts become too negative and reflect judgmentalism.
A CALL to PRAYER on each unrighteous deed; prayer based on scripture and seeking the will and glory of God would be good to do. This WORK is based on FAITH. Apart from these is dead gossip that puffs up; thinking one wise. We are His house. It shall be a house of prayer. |

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Many of them are lawyers and need the Gospel.
