Reply to Mark Clark Mark,
How does Scripture define marriage? When does Scripture say "marriage happens" or when "God joins" people "in marriage?"
Thanks for the great question.
Reply to Alfred They believe he came back "in a way." Just as in the Scriptures described in this sermon and the one I referenced dealing with Matthew 10:23.
Reply to Jon from Wisconsin Brother Jon,
I can think of nobody better equipped to share this information than you, a godly surgeon.
We miss you guys.
Reply to Brother Walt I need the reminders, Brother Walt. I was so thrilled to remember that you and I and others like us are all caught by the same net. Some of us, by God's grace, will be revealed as sons of God (Romans 8:19-22) and others...they are bad. Thanks for stopping in, faithful friend.
Reply to Alfred's strange interpretation To suggest that there is a difference between "buying" something and "redeeming" something borders on ridiculous. I recommend listening to the Bible message preached Wednesday. If you got on here, once again, to combat Scripture with a system, please shop elsewhere.
Reply to Alfred Thanks for stopping in again, Alfred. Could you ask your question again? I don't understand what you mean by "would the world already under condemnation, but not yet judged or he that believeth not is condemned...
Please help me out here, brother.
Reply to Justin Ray Bernal Justin,
It means alot to me that you would take the time for feedback here.
I am aware of what "re" means as a prefix. You should probably note that the KJV and older versions are the only ones that use "replenish" instead of "fill." Have you investigated that?
Your Jeremiah passage is interesting in that it clearly has a judgment "feel" to that. I'll give it some more thought (as I have in the past) this evening.
Good Stuff Pastor Dan,
I was with you until about 20 minutes in when you make a comparison between Lot's wife & Nadab and Abihu with a holy God sending people to an infinite hell for finite offenses.
For one thing, Lot's wife did not experience infinite punishment. This is really not a good comparison, but I love your series.
Reply to Benjamin You are ill-informed disciple of the Ruckmanites. I say "ill-informed" because your hero, Sam Gipp's teacher, Peter S. Ruckman, wrote a booklet about the revisions. I own it. He calls them what I call them.
Reply to Alfred's 2nd Supposition Well, at least you're willing to say it's your "opinion." I commend your honesty, and heartily claim this opportunity to remind you that your firm opinions are rather "Reubenic" in the face of Scriptural explicits (Genesis 49:4a).
Reply to Alfred's first supposition Alfred, come now. You are just providing more material for my commentary. If there is nothing but Jewish Christians in Revelation 12, then you have nothing but Jewish Christians being accused by the dragon (12:10), washed by the blood of Christ (12:11), and keeping the testimony of Jesus (12:17). On the other hand, to say that the woman is Israel (12:6) and the seed of the woman is Israel (12:17) seems pretty unnatural.
