You are right, brother. In fact, Paul linked the two (Acts 26:8).

You give too much credit to the Papal church. If we have no saved men of God, then we have no church at all. We may as well be Mormons if we can look at an entire era and say "nobody believed." Furthermore, if we cannot say that, then must admit there were many who believed the Bible to be Holy-otherly-sinless-inerrant.

Maybe you're right and this is nothing more than state-sponsored nonsense...but I believe Christ is bigger than that assumption. By the way, church polity and customs--be they charismatic (women preachers) or catholic (crucifix) in their origins--are not nearly as important as the fundamentals of the faith.

Are you aware of the "purpose" of the compound? Was it "seclusion?"

“ Reply to Brent ”
Brent, Thanks for commenting. I want to caution you about deciding what's fair outside of the dictates of Scripture. Asking "how it is fair that Christ was punished for someone's sin yet they still go to Hell" is going from Biblical Theology to Systematic Theology--where we interpolate far more than we exegete. I would encourage you to consider a key point. If you cannot tell a sinner Christ paid for their sin then you have no Gospel to preach to them.

“ Reply to Preceding 3 Comments ”
Thanks to each of you, friend. Sometimes in our desire to "renounce hidden things of shame/dishonesty" (2 Corinthians 4:2), we force ourselves to be transparent. God only knows and imparts to us by His grace and through His Spirit how to do this.

Thanks for stopping in. Yes, this is certainly circus-like. It's not like we have tons of reputation money to spend with an already cynical and skeptical world.

Brother Michael, The problem with Van Kampen's work (which I have read) is that it still argues for a two-phase second coming.

Brother, There is no way to exhaust the buffoonery of a godless nation. May the Lord find it within His Sovereign will to revive a dead nation and save some from the burning.

Great Question. I would say that you have a revelation of the judgments taking place after the 7th Seal, but their execution takes place before the 6th Seal in real time. In other words, he sees it after the seals but it takes place during the seals. He simply could not have written about everything all at once.

I guess I am confused. Which battle in Revelation do you think I was saying corresponded to Ezekiel 38 and 39 if you are "not sure about the battle at the end of the millennium?"

...and yet...not a single verse of Scripture in your response to support Purgatory. So I trust you are just informing the reader of its concept and not that you personally adhere to that fallacy.

Just 1:16 into this recording you say that the 144,000 "preached the Gospel." Could you please elaborate as to why you believe this to be so?

“ Great Sermon! ”
To the publisher of this sermon, I am about 19 minutes through this sermon and Brother Carl says that the church will not be here at this point of Revelation's chronology? Could you elaborate on when the church leaves earth according to the book of Revelation?

“ Question ”
I am about 14 minutes through this message when you said that those on the thrones of 20:4-6 were "now reigning." Doesn't this also mean that the serpent must be bound in the bottomless pit given 20:1-3? Do you hold that he is bound in the bottomless pit?
