Amen Kenny! You're exactly right! GG, Lance, and other RC's are on here so that they can inform their beloved Society of Jesus in how to persuade their "seperated brethren" back under Rome's wing. As I've said before, the same arguments have been going on for years now, they've clearly heard the true gospel many times from everyone here. A word of advice to all... LET THEM BE, SHAKE THE DUST OFF YOUR FEET... by continually argueing with them you're helping them to aid Rome in its evil. Cast not your pearls before swine. Spend the time that you reply to them by sharing the gospel with someone who is lost but may recieve it. If they don't recieve it, seek someone else, who might receive it. It's clear and evident that the RC's here have no intention to receive it, and unless God changes their heart, they won't receive it. They think their doing God a service through their evil religion. So did the Pharisees.Always, always, pray for them, that God will open their blind eyes, bring conviction in their heart, and get them out of the devils masterpiece. Father in heaven, we ask these things in Jesus's name, Amen. |

Walt wrote, "I know that almost every Arminian Baptists I've met cannot stand history, I would suggest you spend a few months studying it before linking Calvinists to Erastians and Independents."Walt in your studies of history, go back and take a good look at all the groups who were NEVER associated with Rome, which held to the Bible as their only authority, practiced believers baptism by immersion only, practiced autonomy of the local church, NEVER persecuted anyone, and were viciously tortured and murdered by Rome and those who wanted to reform Rome. These groups existed in history all the way back to the apostles outside of Rome and outside of the reformers. While they had many names they held the same beliefs as what we call today independent fundamental Baptists.(www.bible-truth.org) The reformers never fully departed from Rome and all its ways. GG, This is the true church of God: those who follow His written Word and keep it as their ONLY rule of faith and practice. Not some church heirarchy, or some denominational confession of faith! The true church is a body of true believers, not a denomination, not an organization, but the body of all those who are born of God's Spirit. This is the church that the gates of hell will not prevail against! Not the cult of Rome!! |

Giuliani is quoted as saying about the Bible: "The reality is, I believe it, but I don't believe it necessarily literally true in every single respect,"This is what most of those who profess to be Christians believe about Bible, and if true, then why not just throw the Bible away? The problem is people don't believe we have a word for word, perfect, literal, inerrant Bible in which God himself preserved for each generation as He says in Psalm 12:6-7. They believe that man has corrupted the Bible through translation. We don't have any of the original manuscripts, so if this is true why believe any of it? Unfortunately this is where most people, professing Christians and unbeleivers alike stand in their belief about the Bible. Mr. Giuliani is one of the crowd. Jesus certainly believed the story of Jonah: Matthew 12:40 "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the WHALE'S belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." (And BTW there are two lines of manuscripts in which all Bible translations originate. One is from the city of Antioch, Syria, the other from Alexandria,Egypt. God perfectly preserved His Word for each generation through the Antioch line(KJV). All modern perversions came from Alexandria, Egy) |
