Years ago, I was forced to abandon my medical aid. It was a choice of either eating or having the medical insurance. These past three weeks pressed me into an emergency need that surpassed my ability to pay; rendering me helpless. Humanly speaking, I should have died twice already. Yet, the mercy of the Lord has washed over me and my family. Even the massive medical costs needed for the first heart-attack, dissipated as dear family members, church family members, and other friends sacrificed generously of their valued resources to help me in my time of need.

I write this to say thank you to you. I write this to say thank you for reaching out your hands to catch me and to spare my life for my girls, my family, and further service to Christ in His church. I write this as a public confession of gratitude to my Lord for granting me the privilege of extended Christian service and the enjoyment of the life He has graciously granted me.

I am grateful for your care that moved me to tears on many occasions; text messages, facebook messages, e-mails, phone calls, visits, prayers, enquiries through other people, love in your hearts and your gratefully received gifts. I thank God Almighty for moving your hearts to help me; what a privilege to both be used by God, and to be shown mercy in this way by God.

My dear friends, where the correct words escape my grasp, this day after my second angiogram in three weeks, please understand that I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
