The counsel that many are receiving is possibly from Marianne Williamson.I've been doing some research into this lately and she has ties to big people, including Oprah. Do a search on Oprah's site and you'll see that Williamson is highly promoted as a "spiritual leader". She follows a religion called "A Course in Miracles". http://www.leaderu.com/orgs/probe/docs/thcourse.html This new religion is dangerous because it uses Christian language and sounds Christian, but it really isn't. It's pyscho-babble, self-help, false religion to the core. I watched a Larry King Live show not long ago with Oprah and her "Friends" promoting their radio station. It's pretty scary how Americans hang on every word of these people and how this new age religion influences everything these days, literally. "Oprah and Friends" is a nice package of false teaching that sounds nice and tickles a lot of ears, but leads people in the opposite direction of the One True God of the Bible. |
