Hi Michael,

Hope the 3rd shift continues to go well. How is your mom? Hope all is well with you and your family.

It's unfortunate that those of us who are genuinely saved still have a nasty flesh to deal with and sometimes we tend to obey it's lusts rather than the spirit's promptings. I know whenever I have gone to the Lord in prayer with my complaints over a brother or sister who sinned against me, the Lord is quick to sober me with the reality of an area in my life that is not pleasing to Him. So obviously we will never be free from sin. But what I am talking about is those positionally in Christ are no longer declared wicked or guilty. We are now sons and daughters.

Cbc, I appreciate your heart.

I need to clarify one sentence so there is no misunderstanding. My last comment should say, "We all deserve Hell because of our wickedness but remember too that we (those of us who are saved) are no longer wicked because of the righteousness of Christ.

Cbc,

I see what you are saying and you are right......on weeping for the lost. Many prophets did like Jeremiah who lamented constantly. So we can pray for them and continue to love them. But I still feel the same for those who like Hitler for example, inherited Hell because of their gross wickedness........those are the kind of people I am talking about.

David speaks repeatedly in the Psalms about God bringing calamity on his foes and the enemies of God. And remember when Jesus proclaimed many woes to the Pharisees in Matt. 23. Jesus knew their hearts were wicked and full of dead men's bones.

And yes you are right that we all deserve Hell because of our wickedness but remember too that we are no longer wicked because of the righteousness of Christ (and I say that with humility) and we now belong to God.....we are on His team. We have confidence because He is for us and with us, unlike our enemies and in that we can rejoice. There are promises from God that He will smite our enemies and give us the victory IN HIS TIME.

Hi cbc,

I understand your heart but I don't agree with all of what you said. Hell was created by God for people who hate Him and His righteousness. Hell was created for Satan and all who follow suit. There are many verses that refer to God laughing when their calamity comes because they ignored His laws and His righteous rule and they became proud and arrogant and said in their hearts that they would be like God (fools). In Romans chapter 1, Paul talks alot about God's wrath.

God had to destroy the earth in the days of Noah because when He looked and saw men's hearts, He saw no righteousness, He saw that every man had evil constantly in his heart and that was all they wanted to do.

Michael,

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier, I had something to do. I think the scripture that comes to my mind about this global warming hype is Romans chapter 1. Fantastic scripture which talks about man worshipping the creation rather than the Creator and this is exactly what we see in global warming. Man sets himself up to be god and gives himself all this power and glory which he does not possess and totally ignores the Creator.

If anything global warming is about changing the truth of God into a lie and worshipping and serving the creature more than the Creator........verse 25.

These Catholics are changing their tatics. They are adopting many evangelical terms and many of them say that yes, they are saved only by the grace of Jesus Christ........but their actions do not prove they are redeemed at all. Their words prove they do not understand the truth. You will know those who are saved by the truth that they speak and their allegiance and loyalty to Jesus Christ and His Truth and obedience to that Truth!

Some catholics are the most self-righteous, arrogant, prideful people I have met. At least those that are of scholarly form.

"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools".....Romans 1:22 and continue reading through to verse 25!

Wow, Michael, that's a long time getting back to me about that 3rd shift. That was a long 3rd shift.

Oh yes, I do believe in God's judgement, but these people are talking about politics,,,,,,they don't speak truth nor do they factor God in the equation, but rather "mother earth." They do not speak the truth that God controls the elements and that judgement will come when God is ready and that judgement will come down through the elements due to man's sin and his rebellion against God's authority, not because he didn't take care of the environment.

Oh Brother!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad I do not belong to the Nat'l Association of Evangelicals.......they jump on every political and hyper -social bandwagon, it's unbelievable. And they are supposed to be representing me! Whatever, I rather be autonomous. It's more intelligent. I have no desire to follow foolish leaders!

Dude, that's your point of view. Please don't tell me how to think like you. I will think for myself, thankyou!

By the way, Lou Dobbs had 2 guests come on his show to talk about this very thing and these men had nothing to do with government, they were just billionaires who can buy people off with greed and power, they don't care at all about the American people. Lou Dobbs said to them, "but what about the American people, don't they have a say?" To which they responded, "It will keep our borders safer from terriorism if we join with Canada and Mexico."

Yeah right, they a full of poop! There is something so much more nefarious going on!

Cbc,

Amen! I only left that comment because I do occasionally have a glass of wine and I do not feel condemned when I do. But when I do have a glass of wine......I do so in moderation and I would never do it in front of a "weaker" christian who feels it's a sin to have any wine period (as it says in Romans 14). My freedom in Christ allows me to have a glass of wine once in awhile just as my freedom in Christ allows me to wear pants.

God bless you.

DB,

It was nice to read your testimony. I take it you were a former catholic. Praise God He brought you out of that! I am sure evangelizing catholics is very important to you.........and it really is sad that many believers think catholics are genuinely saved. And as far as Britney goes......God is fully aware of her every thought as He is with every single human being so I'll leave that in His very capable, sovereign hands. But like I said there are many "religious" people on their way to Hell and that is exactly what they want and that is exactly what they will get.

I'll share a little testimony myself. I was saved at 4. I was raised in a Christian home. After my parents came to know Christ personally, they made sure each of us kids (my brothers and I) asked Jesus to forgive of our sins and save us when we were of age to know. But unfortunately, my parents marriage did not last so when I was about 20, I started doing the worldly thing. Going to nightclubs in Manhattan and the Jersey Shore. I dated non-christian men and came so close to losing my virginity. I drank and sometimes got a little drunk. Fortunately I never did drugs and I never went pregnant. But the Lord pulled me back into fellowship because He was faithful and I have been walking as close as I can since th

Many people claim to be religious like Madonna, but they are NOT searching for the TRUTH. They have NO INTEREST in the truth.

And I am not saying that from a self-righteous attitude but rather from a truthful standpoint and reality.

"All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me, I will in no wise cast out".....John 6:37
