Faith is a gift from God, you cannot believe unless He gifts you with faith {Eph.2:8,9} Let's read the scripture! Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Is it faith that is the gift or Grace? Faith comets by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Is God withholding his word from some? When a man STOPS his ears to the preaching of the word has God declared, No faith for you, or is it that mans personal choice to say what rubbish I'm just fine. God Draws all men to him, for it is his will NONE should perish but that ALL should repent, but not all come do they , why not they love sin and are not convicted by Gods Grace drawing through his Word Jesus = the word, grace, truth all the above Praise the Lord |

Don't know if I should laugh or cry.... You take scripture, so arbitrarily without questioning the who's and whys Nope Ne God just does it , he'll just do it, yep case closed... Who are the "THEM" that no man can pluck out of his hand ? I notice like a Calvanist you neglect the verse before this statement ,as a believer and not a cherry picker, here it is John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: THEY ATE HIS SHEEP THEY KNOW HIS VOICE THEY FOLLOW HIM who are they that follow? Let God answer himself Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. DAILY DAILY DAILY or maybe not your choice Praise the Lord |

Just saying wrote Jet 31:31-34 (see below)A covenant that cannot be broken by God's people because God gives a new heart with the law written on it, he promises to be our God and we his people, all taught by him, all knowing him from the least to the greatest because the Lord will forgive us and remember our sins no more. God does all this for and in us to ensure we cannot break the covenant. Get the point? Sorry brother I don't see ANYWHERE in the scripture you give that says be cannot break his new covenant only your opinion only your words not Gods! Or do you believe when Paul warns the believers to continue in faith that he got this big wrong or maybe you are better than those in the wilderness or even the Angels in heaven? Hebrews 3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: DONT HARDEN YOUR HEART AS THEY DID, YOU STILL CAN IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO. Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. IF IF IF WE CONTINUE, CONTINUE IN BE |

Ladybug wrote We obey and we believe NOT to be saved, but because we already are saved. Your views are a works-based salvation, and that doesn't save you.Oh so you were "saved" before you believed.?.... Really, so why do you believe if your already saved? Why did Jesus say Repent Ye and believe.... What for., how would you know that you were saved before you believed? So what's stopping ALL no believers from saying that they're saved, like God loves everyone you know Man you guys are so messed up ,why cause you don't have to do nothing, Psalms31:23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, Psalms 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; Psalms 145:20 The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. Preserved, the faithful, (believers) Preserved the saints ( the holy, true believers) Preserved they that love him ( they that keep his words) Preserved saved not of my works but my works prove my faith Where is that scripture that says I don't need to believe to be saved or have I just not comprehended you clear words again. Praise the Lord |

Ladybug what is a covenant? You know it's a contract. You know a contract is between more than 1 person You know God has kept his part You say you don't have to keep yours, I beg to differ. Mathew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Yes and I will continue on this tangent Praise the Lord |

Ladybug wrote Here's a question for you, are you depending on your own obedience to be saved? Have you kept all the commandments? It is my obedience that proves my faith, and my keeping of the commandments, well I'll let Spurgeon himself answer that in today's devotional of faiths checkbook. If one sin has dominion of us we are not the Lords free men. A man who is held by one chain is still a captive. There is no going to Heaven with one sin ruling within us, for of the SAINTS it is said " Sin shall not have dominion over you." Surely you have no problem with Spurgeon do you? See sin does not rule or reign in or over me any more it is I that have reign and rule over sin by Christ that dwells in me, You may still be stuck in Romans 7:17&20 where sin lives in you, but I have been crucified with Christ, Galatians 2:20 and it is Christ that dwells in me Do you not believe you can sin no more? Did Christ lie in John 8:11 or to the woman caught in adultery... Do you not believe in being Holy as He is Holy Oh yes I forgot YOU don't need to believe or obey Praise the Lord |

Ladybug wrote God's covenant with His elect doesn't hinge on your obedience, faith, or free will - it hinges all on Christ - what He has done. WOW THERE YOU HAVE THE ARROGANCE OF TRUE CALVINISM IN A NUTSHELL YOU DONT HAVE TO OBEY YOU DONT NEED FAITH...(belief,trust) Thank you blessed Lord Jesus for the word of truth that I may trust and obey and know there is no other way... 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Praise the Lord I say of my own free will |

The answer to the question is... YES Calvinists ARE ARROGANTRC Sproul, Ligonier ministries, is a fantastic Bible teacher on the doctrines of grace. Yep if your gonna go to the barrel, might as well scrape the bottom of it. R.C Sproul, Really. Fantastic,Really. teacher on doctrines of grace, Really Always saying you are saved by grace, always neglecting the through faith part! Hers the problem Calvanists have , Ye do not err in not knowing the scriptures Ye do err even before you begin reading the scriptures. They consist of the Old and the New Testament or Covenant or Contract A contract is always between two or more parties, both sides need to uphold their part in order for the contract to remain valid, Calvinists like R C Sproul believe in a Monergism that salvation depends on only one agent, namely God. Then why have a CONTRACT??? James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. God chooses the faithful that keep his commandments, There's your part of the CONTRACT keep it, obey it, do it James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selve |

We don't have a Choice to make its already made? Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Joshua 24:14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good. 21 And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD. 22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.Judges 5:8 They chose new gods; |

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. 22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men. 23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves2 Samuel 24:12 Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee. 1 Chronicles 21:10 Go and tell David, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee. Job 34: 4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good. 31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more: 32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more. 33 Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest. Proverbs 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD Proverbs 3:31 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his way |

Mathew 7: 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? Phillipians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; |
