Psalms 31:23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, What what , He preserves the faithful,, believers,
I have heard a preacher say that they are faithful because they are preserved, but that is not what scripture says is it,
God says in his holy word that He preserves the faithful, they his saints are preserved because of their believing .

Again where in scripture does it say man is selected on anything a man does?it doesn't, it's states the exact opposite.James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith God choose (predestines) the rich in faith(true believers), is that so hard to understand, predestination and free will, they both apply to true believers. I understand the words dead in sins as God has given them, the same way as
John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
The word perish does not mean an "end" rather an eternal separation from God,
Continue with Ephesians till v8
For By Grace are Ye saved through faith!
Ye were dead, separated from God due to sin and unbelief , through belief you have been quickened, made alive, joined back, reconciled to God.

God chooses all...but not all will choose God
From all those that believe, he chooses his elect.James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
His saints, his elect Believe and keep his words and continue in them
Simple really
God is sovereign but his will will not overrule mankinds free will
Believers chosen from the foundation of the world
Unbelievers and unrepentant choose to perish

Do you really mean that the Creator of all things, the one who said "before Abraham, I was," the one is was, is and is to come,
Opinionated if your gonna quote the word of God, you may want to get it right
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Our Lord is the" I Am" not the I was, you might want to check the last few verses at the back of the book and see the penalties for messing with his infallible word.

To the brethren in the U.S of A,
Donald or Hellary, um Hitlery, um Hillary,
It may not matter ,one is old and the other is old and sick, neither may see out their term if elected, look to their running mates, you may just have a man with a bible in his hands sitting in the Oval Office sooner than later...

The great saints you mentioned, Leonard Ravenhill,A.W. Tozer and Martin Lloyd Jones all have one thing in common, they all held firmly to the uncompromising and incorruptible standard of the King James Bible, the pure and perfected word of God. As you read MLJs article you will see he quotes from the KJV whereas our blogger though he be sincere does not,
Beware my brethren, a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
When different versions say different things they cannot both be true.
See Dan 3:25, 2 Cor2:17, Hos 11:12, Job 19:26.....So soooo much more
2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
You knoew some versions even take out the word study!
May our Lord and God bless you his saints, continue to keep the faith until the end. |
