Another reason is avoiding abusive peers. For some reason, Assault or Battery are illegal against adults, and they're also illegal at home, but it's OK for minors in school. Same goes for "Hate Speech" like "Four Eyes" etc. And of course some kids are a bad influence morally.
Surely.
Parents naively assume that in sending a child to a public school the main influence on them would be their teachers.
Wrong, the main factor influencing their children is the peers.

Even in Christian schools using the right curriculum this is a crude fact.
A 'bad apple' coming from a home with unsupervised media intake, with the inherit lack of discipline that brings, is all it takes to undo all the good will of dedicated Christian teachers and godly home influences of the rest of the class.

One thing we should remember when discussing home schooling or anything about kids, we need take back the language. Leftists are good at stealing it for their own purposes. Example: from politicians and professors we often hear the phrase "our children". It's the base line from which they proceed. It sets a faulty premise, one that makes it seem like their position has some validity. That's when we need get in their face and say, "No, and they aren't 'our children'. Your children are your children; my children are mine. I have no authority over yours, and I can assure you, you have none over mine." There is a time for defiance, and protecting your kids from harm is one of them.
Sure
The main reason for homeschooling is to opt out of the humanist curriculum. So the professor seems to obviously miss out.

“ Impressive anecdotes ”
Showing the imperative of how the power and works of darkness have an antidote in a life lived in the Spirit, which the preacher identifies as the 'baptism in the Holy Spirit' .

'And the country was filled with water'
By Duncan Campbell

Such a blessing
https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=1316&commentView=itemComments

QUOTE, 'Duncan Campbell preached this strong word on the baptism in the Holy Spirit at a camp meeting in America in the 1960's. "You can't work up revival, but you can do the digging"--a breaking through the dry crust of our hearts and removing the 'stones', anything that would hinder a consecrated life to God. The sermon is alive with vivid revival accounts, as with its sister sermon, "Lacking One Thing".'

Indeed, Mrs. McC. ... like ... Cromwell in certain circles.
For instance, my wife and I know an Anglican. He has no time for Cromwell.
Figures as Cromwell, the British Puritans, or William Cecil, the firm first minister of queen Elizabeth I guarding the country against the anti reformation forces of the day battering England -e.g.Spanish Armada etc... -, have been systematicly maligned.

Of course Anglicans resent Cromwell to this day, as he dismantled their episcopacy and bishop-base church government, and this has never been forgotten or forgiven.

Yet sadly, to get rid of Cromwell's commonwealth the Anglican party was bitterly willing to support the restoration of the distrusted Stuarts, in the person of the immoral, jolly-pleasure seeking, irresponsible and ungodly figure of Charles II who led the country towards libertarian life styles and a frivolous mind set, driving the populous to ridiculase and openly abhor the firmily established image of the British Puritan.

Yet, there are history books about that manage to narrate the turmoil of this period without mentioning the word Bible or Protestant !!

The destruction of Southern heritage and history because it is inconvenient and non-politically correct is just the starting point. It's an easy one to take on. The South held slaves, after all. Don't bother to note that the North did too and that the Compromise of 1850 proposed by a Yankee was a travesty of justice. Let's not forget how many times New England threatened to secceed from the Union prior to those unfortunate unpleasantries of the 1860s. Don't think they aren't coming for the rest of history.
History is often inconvenient. It shows our best and our worst. If we look at the history of the nation that came from Jacob/Israel, we see much of the same. There are real heroes. There are real scoundrels...
The war between the states was staged, the same as the riots, and 'racism' ... in order to advance certain agendas.
Do you want to stir up Americans easily?
Bring up these topics and you will divide and in dividing distract, and win.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Treating psychology for what it is against God's truth. Very useful. The speaker has a degree in psychology and explains the falsehoods of this so called 'science'

A book written probably two decades ago which Biblically nails the present and quotes much from 1984! Hard to find, but a copy on eBay. A MUST READ for Chris and sis McCausland, you won't be able to put it down as it is most covincing and convicting. Author would be reformed, book was well received at the time. Book is easy to read. Read it if you haven't already, then you'll want to pass it on.
Thanks
Mr. C J Williams had an old pamphlet published on those same lines.
Wondering if this is the same with a new title or if it is a different work.

... Bristol, ... the City Council surreptitiously put bin bags on a statue of a benefactor of the City of Bristol, when it was a famous port in the 17th to early 18th century, Edward Colston, who unfortunately also traded in slaves. He set up many charitable works, and the local concert hall was named after him,(now it has been renamed by politically correct administrators). The statue has been there since 1895.
The city council, I think wanted to bypass the normal democratic process for the statue’s removal, though some people had sent a petition asking for it, so it seems that not many police were around when a lawless mob showed up, toppled it, one of them knelt in the neck of the statue in the same way George Floyd was killed, and then they threw it into the harbour. This is not the way that things should be done in a democratic country.
If we removed everything we didn’t like, we would have to delete most if our kings and historical figures!!
Thanks. Rewriting history includes taking down palpable evidences.
