Strong Sermon! Dr. Murray gives us a realistic picture of sin and its consequences as shown through David's life and that of his family. Yet with the most horrible sins, God will forgive them if there is true repentance. I thank God for that because I too was much like David, and now I know my sins are forgiven too. Thank you Christ Jesus for dying for me.
Powerful Sermon! Dr. Murray presents a sermon that shows how King David's adultery is alive and well in today's world, especially seen how the rich, powerful and God-less people in Wash DC commit David's sin and have no shame. Our world is truly in Satan's hands.
Excellent sermon and so relevant for today. Very timely and very needful in my own life today. Marriage and singleness are both gifts from God! We need to remind ourselves that God is sovereign over ALL of our circumstances. His providences always work out for our good and His glory. Therefore we need to rest in God and as Brother Murray encourages us to "keep it simple" Amen! Do not despise where you are called. God is with us.
Excellent ! If I may suggest one more practical application ... Sleep at the end of the day is contingent on what one does during the preceeding day. The Praise to Complaint ratio is crucial, When the P/C is high the Sleep Index is high. Conversely when the P/C ratio is low the Sleep Index is low. Praise throughout the day is a natural hypnotic at the end of the day but complaining throughout the day results in the same complaint board throughout the night for the insomniac. Thank Him for Praise as we are natural complainers.
Stimulating Sermon! Pastor Joel does an outstanding job presenting our obligation to Grow in Jesus. As he points out what we should be doing every day with the goal of becoming more like Jesus with the help of God. From this sermon we should stop using and wasting our time on secular things in our free time. To grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus is the ultimate use of our life.
