Excellent sermon and so relevant for today. Very timely and very needful in my own life today. Marriage and singleness are both gifts from God! We need to remind ourselves that God is sovereign over ALL of our circumstances. His providences always work out for our good and His glory. Therefore we need to rest in God and as Brother Murray encourages us to "keep it simple" Amen! Do not despise where you are called. God is with us.
Excellent ! If I may suggest one more practical application ... Sleep at the end of the day is contingent on what one does during the preceeding day. The Praise to Complaint ratio is crucial, When the P/C is high the Sleep Index is high. Conversely when the P/C ratio is low the Sleep Index is low. Praise throughout the day is a natural hypnotic at the end of the day but complaining throughout the day results in the same complaint board throughout the night for the insomniac. Thank Him for Praise as we are natural complainers.
Stimulating Sermon! Pastor Joel does an outstanding job presenting our obligation to Grow in Jesus. As he points out what we should be doing every day with the goal of becoming more like Jesus with the help of God. From this sermon we should stop using and wasting our time on secular things in our free time. To grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus is the ultimate use of our life.
On Point Pastor Life first, our Love second, with His love first birthing new life. Love is practical plus this is serious stuff is a nice combination. Thanks for the 10 practical suggestion and the sermon in it's totality I will text the sermon/link on to all that I know ... Go tell everyone what the Lord has done for you and will give it a go to show everyone what the Lord has done for me in 10 practical ways. And Mephibosheth did eat continually at the King's table as one of the King's sons ! (1 Samuel)
Great Sermon! Thank you Pastor. You have brought out the significance of the Love of God & its paramount importance in Gospel or even better, The Love of God is the Gospel. The full wrath of God which was to be on me is poured on His beloved Son, Jesus Christ who is the propitation for me. Thank You God.
Amazing Word! God be the glory, this is a sermon for all Christians of all stages. Must revisit this again and again. Praise God! Bless the ministry and the life of this spiritual leader and his congregation.
Preach On Yes there are 2 notes ... the first incredibly bitter and the second infinitely sweet ... We are the incredibly bitter one and Jesus is the infinitely sweet one ... His name is like perfume poured out !
3 Minutes & 17 Seconds Is how long it took to convict Mephibosheth. But definitely worth listening till the end. Taste and See that The Lord is good, the one who trusts in Him, is truly Blessed. And Mephibosheth did eat continually at The King's Table as one of The King's sons
