A true encouragement! I heard this sermon back in the early 2000's, in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. I went looking for it during a night of weeping, and was pleased to find it again. It presents encouragement, gentle challenges, assurance of God's tender love, and hope. Thanks for posting it!
Excellent sermon! Though we thankful for the honoring of motherhood today we are much more thankful in the exaltation of our Blessed Redeemer who had the heart of this godly woman Hannah. Thanks Dr Bilkes for giving a fine example of what prayer should be like may we by Hod's grace strive to be like Hannah.
Great Sermon! Thank you. I've shared with those I feel have ears to hear. I do tremble at the thought of our Lord's impending judgement against our nation, a nation such as this drowning in the mire of sin and injustice and rejection of the Son. Thank you for sounding words of warning.
Great Sermon! Just what I needed to hear. So convicting and encouraging. Pastor, may the Lord greatly bless you and make you a blessing. The God of Joseph knows what we need to hear. All the sermons about Joseph are so good. Hope it will be a blessing for many.
Great Sermon! An intensely moving message. Thank you Dr. Beeke. My Lord Jesus give me tears for the unconverted. Make me a weeping intercessor for the lost, for my lost daughter and brother and family. I can so understand that radiologist as there are no reformed churches here.
Great Sermon! Explained that "In the beginning God" are the most powerful words ever spoken or written in the universe! The Book of Gensis, being the first book of the Bible, is the beginning to ALL! Before there "was" there was only God!
Great Sermon! Dr. Beeke this message was used by the Spirit of God to touch me deeply. It is very easy as a believer in our evangelical surrounding to slack in reverence and fear of that wonderful name. Thank you for your sermons that focus so much on who God is and this one is exceptional. How we need that in our daily walk
Great Sermon! Very much enjoyed this sermon, pointing out why Christians and Christ are irrationally hated and feared: people don't like the Change it brings! I hope my Christian life encourages this.
