1. You were strangers to God and to His promises (verses 11-12). 2. But everything changes so that you are no longer strangers to God but you are God's temple (verses 19-22). 3. Jesus Christ brings you near (verse 13). 4. The problem was that the Jews did not realize their temple was pointing them to Christ (verse 15). 5. But Christ abolished the dividing was of the temple (verses 14-16). 6. Now He comes to you preaching peace: trust Christ and you are at home with God your Father.
