“ Amen, God’s Children are Beloved of the Father ” Thank you for such an edifying sermon, dear Brother Tom. Your words reminded me of the 1991 Kevin Costner film “Robin Hood”. A scene in which Robin at last confronts the bike Nottingham Sheriff who wields the sword of Robin’s slain father. To this, Robin contends boldly “I shall never fear my father’s sword”. Amen indeed for the child of God declares the same for His wrath and justice have been satisfied in Christ’s sacrifice. For the unregenerate sinner, God’s sword stands ready to mete out due punishment but for the saved Christian, that sword has become a guiding rod and staff from the Faithful Shepherd. John 3:36 ; Romans 8:32
