Joel, Joel, Joel... I went to this night of hope conference to bring a review here to the news in focus, it was lame. The only thing that conference was robbing the people lol

Joel, Joel, Joel.... Great program! Before God saved me, I was a devout homosexual. I must say it was one of the hardest sins to deal with, but I couldn't have done it without the help and power of the holy spirit.
Dirk, this January will be one year in the Christ family... And I have grown a lot in my theology and relationship with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Never knew Christians were so vicious and malicious during the so called celebration of the incarnation of the eternal Son of God. I know why the world hates us, cuz the natural man hates anything about God... But we also give them reason to joke and mock. I know a smart man who says, "if I was am athiest, I would not argue for the existence of God... I would just say you Christians cannot even figure out to do with water and how to celebrate your so called Savior."

If we are worried about what day to celebrate the birth of Christ because of the heathen and all of its pagan orgins.. might as well never celebrate it cuz the days of our week are named after pagan gods. December 25th is a federal holiday, everything is closed, families ate together... What better opportunity to we have to celebrate Christ? Let the heathen be heathen... Their false gods are nothing, they are empty, they are fake. Paul talks about that in Corinthians. Only if it causes someone to stumble, but exalting Christ to the world to be known, don't see much of a stumbling block to my brethren.
Is that an even serious question? First of all, its the day we celebrate the birth of our savior. And second, its the Lord's day. Where in that do we see a reason to cancel services?
