I wonder if they will have to pay anything to the national denomination to make the split official. I remember a similar story from California that emphasized the cost of leaving. Property matters in these church disputes. They say they could not evangelize the world being in that denomination; I don't know why it would stop them. I think there are other issues, like women in leadership positions, gay marriages, etc.
