5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot.
8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

The natural man hates God, and so must replace him with one of his own imagination or deny his existence altogether.

(True Calvinist wrote: Do you think that Baptists really can be truly Calvinist in the Biblical sense?)

Calvin would certainly say no, he rejected the anabaptists, writing that "we have no fellowship with them" and they were guilty of damnable heresy.

I agree with much of reformed theology, but to Calvin and others of the reformation you couldn't be a Christian if you denied infant baptism.

I think his point Rufus, is that this is primarily targeted at Christians. Not so much other faiths.

You may be correct Jeff, and certainly we should verify such stories before spreading them.

But the time is certainly coming when the government will try to silence Christians, and it may be much sooner than we would expect.

Jpw

The article doesn't provide a lot of detail, but it does seem that this was here in the states for sure, and this does seem to be another piece of evidence pointing to an apparent growing bias against Christianity. However, many companies restrict computer use for personal reasons, even during downtime, and it is their right to do so. This is reasonable for government computers as well.

Why is he using a government owned computer and internet service for his private business? Sounds like theft.

I read your comment before even reading the story, you make an excellent point.

Wow, he stayed home while his wife worked 80 hours per week? I have more of a problem with that than him collecting welfare
