FR, my opinions are based on scripture and what is not there, so they are not illogical or inconsistent. I don't have to answer to any angel. Peace with God is by the cross, not the birth.

The questions below remain. Hattie, you may attempt to answer them since what you quote does not justify man's invention of xmass.

Mike, any command not to speak gibberish and call it a gift from God?

Hmm, I could really go on and on with this stuff, but I trust it'd be a waste of time, right Mike?

Ah, the spirit of Catholicism is everywhere!!!

FR, the excuses you mention are not on the same religious level as xmass, which directly involves Jesus Christ, whereas birthdays and other celebrations do not. All festivities should be examined by the scriptures no matter what they are. I don't care for worshipping America on the 4th of July or recognizing one's personal day of selfishness.

I trust the "Reverend" Stephen Hamilton should be showing up here pretty soon. Are you lurking here Steve?

Peter: by "praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men"

Very good. Did they do this every year? If so, anytime in December? Any specifics on how the praising is done? Any commands for humans to mimic this act? If so, please explain.

Peter: "It is certainly worth celebrating the peace that Christ has made between God the Father and His elect people."

Oh no, not good. Was peace made by the birth?

Shall we make a big hoopla with the heathen and all the phony Christians with respect to the baptism of Christ? How about creating a day to commemorate when the beard of the Lord Jesus began to grow? Maybe all those that shave their beards could go to the local costume shop and get some beards - some long, some curly or straight, and even some rainbow colored ones - hey, the wackier the better! That's the spirit! And all who would dare object are divisive and judgmental!

John, do "they" actually give you an office for your Internet work or can you simply work from home?

Your phony Jesus has everything to do with xmas, so what you are being told to say is somewhat correct.

Birthdays are days of selfishness and should be abstained from as well.

Greg Price sums up the xmas thing.

The real Christ was never in Christmas, and the real Jesus is not the reason for the season.

It is Mike. An unsettling trend. Lets hope the responsibility of power will scare some sense into them.

This guy here made a big mistake IMO. al qaeda is very good at the publicity thing, but linking al qaeda and Iraq in the minds of the American people is going to strengthen the resolve of this country.

People aren't worried about Iraq cuz they're tired. They're worried cuz they don't think it part of the war on terror. This dummy just confirmed it.

I bet they muzzle him quick and we don't hear from him again.

Political stuff. All just my opinion, and like most of you, I like to hear opposite points of view.

You don't seem to be helping Neil. Hovind fans? Why not look at Kent Hovind as A CHRISTIAN BROTHER???

First, if I had a ministry I'd do the same as he has done.

Secondly, I do not pay income tax.

Serve the LORD Neil.

Anyone judging Kent Hovind better read this, straight from the man himself.

What is government anyways? Who runs it? Lot's to figure out folks. Those foolish ones that defend American government will also defend world government and the leader of it. American government as it's commonly known is evil, though it does do some good. The false view is that American government is good, though it unfortunately does some evil.

I don't consider myself a patriot nor do I fellowship or agree with the folks involved in the freedom/sovereign movement, but much wisdom is to be gleaned from those involved, so I offer the links below. There is some bickering amongst themselves, but that's expected.

I'm glad there are a few wise ones on here that are not selling out to the State, rather the Papacy. The matter is not so simple by merely saying that "paying taxes is the law, Christians are to pay taxes, Kent Hovind does not want to pay them, so therefore he must suffer the consequences".

Professing Christians that speak such ignorance are foolishly siding with the enemy! The issue is very complex and if people do not understand what's going on then they need to be quiet. Christians are to obey laws that are not opposed to God's laws, but what are these earthly laws? It's a big convoluted mess and no one really knows what the laws are.
