Neil, I have seen some of what Wiki says elsewhere as I was browsing around last night. I don't have the links with me at this location and I'm on a very slow connection. As stated in Wiki, an Archbishop and the Cardinal are responsible for the chapters. Interesting. As for the verses, also stated, the responsible one is Robert Estienne, aka Robert Stephens. Wiki says his son Robert held to the Catholic faith. Another source declares that Robert Stephens Sr. was a Catholic that supposedly turned Calvinist, but it's not known if this was before or after adding the verses which was done on some journey. I'm not finding much info about this man, especially how he determined the verses. Even if he was sound in the faith, what he did must be seriously questioned. On one hand, most Christians have no idea that chapters and verses were added by uninspired men having no authority from God to do such a thing, and on the other, the Christians that do know casually gloss over this like it’s no big deal because of all the “benefits.” I’m becoming more convinced, especially from the Catholic involvement, that this is very serious regardless of how long ago the divisions were created and despite the alleged benefits. I believe the problem is much greater than we would tend to think. |

If you don't know or refuse to acknowledge who the enemy is then you ain't fit for the kingdom of heaven. You scripture abuse, SW, would also apply to Hitler and the like. You and the others in your camp evidently enjoy being comfortable in the system you bow down to. Blame it on God all you want, though I don't advise such action. And the question again, do you believe in mind control? |

I just seen this boy on state-run media and he was definitely under the influence of the devil's sorceries, government-endorsed drugs. Prediction 1: In a few years there'll be a video, "What Really Happened at VT?" Prediction 2: More "profiling" of "future terrorists" and innocent people being locked up and/or given "medication" against the will. Don't ever be shy now. Not running to the same excess of riot? Careful careful now. Prediction 3: Gun control distraction. Prediction 4: Americans will continue to run to the STATE for "peace and safety." But hey, maybe I'm wrong. |
