To all that I offended by my posts on this thread, I am sorry and ask your forgiveness,reading them over I see that I did come on here with an angry and accusing spirit. Peace to all of you.
I was not going to answer as I have left the matter with the Lord. I am not naive concerning Internet interactions. I was not basing my disgust on just a few posts on a christian web age. If you had read all my posts you would have seen this has been our experience in churches, and there are some sermons on SA by a couple of men who have used the pulpit to express their bigoted views. No further comment on this matter from me. I think I have plainly expressed our position.
Another thought on the subject and then I will let this matter go.unless one has experienced bigotry at the hands of so called brethren you really are not in a position to sit and write pious platitudes.It seems like a few on this thread just didn't want to see what was plainly set before their eyes.Namely the uncalled for and bigoted remarks of Jim L. Mr b, No problem with what you posted .I do pray and overlook much what is said and done to me.But....when you disrespect my beloved or my family I will take issue and you will get rebuked.Yes racists need prayer as we all do.Blessings to you and yours.
In response to a post to clarify my post from yesterday. I live in a state in the USA that racially profiles people of color.that is fine ...we live very close to the border of Mexico and that is understandable. My husband was born in this country,owned a business,paid taxes and is a God fearing,Christian man.He has been subjected to all manner of racial slurs,because of the illegal issue in this country.Outside the Christian community we expect it....but after reading some of the comments on this thread,and I will let you fill in the blanks,perhaps you understand a little of my anger.I also might add that most of the bigotry has come from the so called professing christian community.and there are a couple of men who post their sermons on SA who spew this garbage.Hope that clarifies where I was coming from.
“ Great Sermon! ” This was a great sermon on the evil system of popery.by Gods marvelous grace we were saved out it.All our family remains in bondage to it.They will not listen.To follow the Lord Jesus Christ has cost us to be shunned by some of our family including our firstborn and grandchildren.HE is worthy of our complete devotion.Please pray for our family.
