Dolores wrote:Dopey,... My husband had 5 stents put in one artery( the widow maker) my son said. The main one, the one that if it blocks will kill you instantly and 2 in another and he is not even saved. So most of us are at a time in our lives we need to try to help and pray for each other in our troubles... A few on here care in a christian way and I thank God for them... Dolores Nine years ago this October in a hospital in Toronto a team of several doctors and several nurses came and advised me to return to my city, monitor my condition, and if problems arose return to Toronto. About an hour later one man came and advised me to totally ignore what the "team" had said and go ahead with a triple by pass operation already scheduled, because I would probably die quickly if I didn't. The man realizing I was in difficulty, facing advice from 2 sources, "the team" vs 1 person, pressed his case further. He told me he was the surgeon that would perform the scheduled operation and that he would have given the same advice to his father had his father been in the same situation. His stand against "the team", probably causing him problems, and his testimony that he cared for me as much as his father made me take the operation. I'm still here! |

Matthew 10:34-36 KJVThink not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. Jesus Christ came to cause division as Matthew 10:34-36 clearly states 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? I have done what is commanded of me in 2 Corinthians 13:5. Have you? I have had God witness to me since I was saved over 40 years ago, that I am in fact saved and not a reprobate, in spite of my numerous failings. Perhaps I am only one of the two people here, along with Dolores, that has failed God since they were saved. Perhaps the rest of you are so spiritual you never fail God. (I know John Uk and Michael Hranek would not admit to never having failed God after they were saved.) I know that God has witnessed to me that Jesus Christ is in me. I find it amazing many of you have never considered the possibility that Jesus Christ in me is continuing to do through me what He promised to do in Matthew 10:36 |

Matthew 5:11-12 KJVBlessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Father, in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ I thank you for the reviling, persecution and evil falsely spoken of against Michael Hranek and myself. For you have truly blessed me through it as I found myself able to rejoice and be exceeding glad. As you know Father, I considered last night the possibility I was about to die last night because of the severe medical problems I was encountering last night. One of which, was a short prelude two heart attacks I had close to nine years ago and which came very close to killing me. I wasn't expecting to be rejoicing and being exceeding glad on earth today but I find that I am thanks to you!!! |

Dolores wrote: Thanks, Dopey, for the advice of sleeping on your back with a pillow under your knees. That really works because I've had to do that when my back gets really bad ever now and then...Have a good day, Dopey. Dolores my dear sister I remember with fondness your kind association with me before I left for several months. I sometimes wondered while away if some "Christians" were figuratively bashing you over the head for liking me. If so, I trust God held you up for: Romans 8:28 KJV And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. |

Christopher000 my dear friend the following is a response to your 9/21/14 6:53 AM post: 2 Peter 3:16 KVJ As also in all his [Paul the Apostle's] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. One of several principles revealed by that Scripture is that sometimes the Holy Spirit uses a saved person to write things that are "hard to be understood". That is something the Holy Spirit did in the first century AD. Is it any different in the 21st century AD? Is the Holy Spirit still using the same principle of sometimes using a saved person to write some things "hard to be understood"? Malachi 3:6 KJV For I am the LORD, I change not;... Paul the Apostle also wrote some things very easy to understand in his writings so the principle amplified is that sometimes the Holy Spirit uses a saved person to write things easy to understand and sometimes things "hard to be understood". Malachi 3:6 testifies to the truth that the Holy Spirit is also using that principle today in regard to the writings of some saved people. |

I see one of MR. Spurgeon's two September 21 messages (Morning and Evening: Daily Readings) is: “Grieve not the Holy Spirit.” Ephesians 4:30 "All that the believer has must come from Christ, but it comes solely through the channel of the Spirit of grace. Moreover, as all blessings thus flow to you through the Holy Spirit, so also no good thing can come out of you in holy thought, devout worship, or gracious act, apart from the sanctifying operation of the same Spirit. Even if the good seed be sown in you, yet it lies dormant except he worketh in you to will and to do of his own good pleasure. Do you desire to speak for Jesus—how can you unless the Holy Ghost touch your tongue? Do you desire to pray? Alas! what dull work it is unless the Spirit maketh intercession for you! Do you desire to subdue sin? Would you be holy? Would you imitate your Master? Do you desire to rise to superlative heights of spirituality? Are you wanting to be made like the angels of God, full of zeal and ardour for the Master’s cause? You cannot without the Spirit—“Without me ye can do nothing.” O branch of the vine, thou canst have no fruit without the sap! O child of God, thou hast no life within thee apart from the life which God gives thee through his Spirit! Then let us not grieve him.. |

Christopher000 wrote: I would like to see a response to Troll Spotters last post if possible. Christopher000 Troll Spotters last post in relationship to when you made your statement at 9/20/14 6:10 PM was 9/20/14 6:01 PM and tomorrow I will respond to it, Lord willing: James 4:14 KJV Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life [Chrisopher000, Troll Spotter, Dopey and everyone else]? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. In fact I may even begin to respond to Troll Spotter again in spite of what I said at 9/20/14 5:49 PM. For he later said something that I was not aware of. And if true it gives me authorization to respond to him again. Not that I am accusing him of lying I just need time to make sure that what he stated is accurate. However, I am tired so I will leave now and return sometime tomorrow, Lord willing. Thanks for your kind greeting to me the other day after my several months absense. If the Rapture occurs tonight I trust I will be seeing you in places sooner than I expected. |

I notice Troll Spotter that you have refused to give all the dates, times and links to the threads and the places in the threads of everything you quote from me from past posts of mine. Are you expecting your readers to believe what you say about what I have said because you say it is so? If so you are not being Scriptural: 2 Thessalonians 5:21 KJV Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Since you refuse, so far, to enable your readers to do what they are commanded by God in 2 Thessalonians 5:21, I will not deal with you further until you provide every single date, time and link to every thread and the places in the thread from which you have quoted from me or will yet quote from me in this thread, in regard to past quotes from me. |

Troll Spotter wrote: Observer wrote: Your inability to think sure entitles you to use that moniker... Troll Spotter what is your point? I thought you were out to illustrate my imperfections not Observer's.Allow me to add editorial notes with brackets to what I quoted from you so the reader will understand more: Observer wrote: Your inability [Dopey] to think sure entitles you [Dopey] to use that moniker[Dopey]... What I quoted from you Troll Spotter illustrates Observer charging me with the inability to "think". So I ask again Troll Spotter are you out to illustrate my imperfections or Observer's imperfections? Whether I can think or not I leave to people to conclude from reading this entire thread from first to last post. |

There are numerous figures of speech, that is, rhetorical devices in the Bible which means of course that the Holy Spirit uses rhetorical devices or figures, that is, figures of speech: 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: A "figure of speech is sometimes called a rhetorical figure" Satire is one of the figures of speech the Holy Spirit uses which means of course that He uses saved people to use Satire as the Bible proves. That means in turn that He also uses saved people in the 21st century to use satire for His principles are eternal: Malachi 3:6 KJV For I am the LORD, I change not;... What Troll Spotter has produced is a post of mine involving satire. Troll Spotter would be better advised to study figures of speech as used by the Holy Spirit in Scripture instead of acting like he is starting up a Protestant Inquisition. A starter link for beginning to study the Holy Spirit's use of satire is [URL=http://www.gotquestions.org/Bible-sarcasm.html]]]What does the Bible say about satire and/or sarcasm?[/URL] Troll Spotter am I on trial by you at 9/20/14 1:57 PM for what the Holy Spirit clearly uses some saved people for? |

Troll spotter wrote: If we recall correctly, you played that part (sowing strife between brethren) really well a few months ago, with your contretemps with Observer and then you added insult to injury by encouraging the 2 resident RCC trolls, clearly nailing your colors to the mast by your admission that you too were a Roman Catholic, mixed with a very good dose of stupidity which only you are capable of. Extremely hypocritical of you to advise someone else to behave like a Christian when you can't do so yourself. As for acting the innocent now, unless you can obliterate your posting history on SA, you should hang your head in shame, you pitiful little troll. No, Troll spotter, to use your word, "we" don't recall correctly. I will answer your false allegations the same way I answered the foolishness of Not duped by dopey. That is, to invite you to start quoting me directly in regard to some of your perceived past transgressions on my part and we will deal with them directly. And you and I will play Haman and Mordecai, Not duped by dopey having refused to play. Thanks for slandering me: Matthew 5:11-12 KJV Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
