Ken Ham 'Disgusted' to Learn Anonymous Donor Sent Money to Planned Parenthood in His Name

Ken Ham, president of the Answers in Genesis Christian ministry, has said he is "disgusted" after learning that an anonymous donor sent money to abortion giant Planned Parenthood in his name.

Ham addressed the situation in a Facebook post, writing: "Because of my very public statements about this evil, murderous organization, someone who opposes us sent a donation to abortion giant Planned Parenthood in 'honor' of me! I guess this person thought it was a way to rile us up because of our anti-abortion stand based on God's Word."

Ham, who is also behind the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, also linked to an article published on answersingenesis.org where he explained he first learned of the donation when he received a "thank you" letter from Planned Parenthood. ...

The Methodist church my mother and her family attended was a small church in a very small town. They had no transportation other than a wagon pulled by their mule that did other work as well. Grandfather was a farmer and devout Christian. Nothing like the United Methodist of today that is more liberal in their beliefs. I learned a lot as a girl in the Wesleyan Methodist The Church my friend attended and his family allowed me to go with them as my mother was unable to go anymore to her church. I always wanted to go to church. No one had to make me. I find that kinda strange in a way compared to the struggle I had getting four kids ready for church every Sunday 🤔I know we are in a spiritual war and it is obviously getting worse.

Francis W Dixon (1910-1985)
You can read a brief outline of his work:
http://www.wordsoflife.co.uk/about/

Apparently his "Lansdowne Bible Notes" were very popular.

Yes I've no doubt that lecture would be interesting. I do remember reading about them many years ago, and the divide between the "Prims" and the "Wesleyans" was summed up in the theological differences between George Whitefield and John Wesley.

What time did this gentleman live?

There is a lecture about the Primitive Methodists by David Young in this site of much interest that might bless your soul.

The resume provided in the page introducing the topic goes like this:

"The first twenty years of the Primitive Methodist revival movement in northern Hampshire, illustrating the beliefs, ethos and spread by means of events, personalities, persecution, zeal, blessing and some of the movement’s imperfections."

It is quite revealing that post Reformation and post Glorious Revolution in England, which guaranteed in theory religious freedoms in the country, these men seeing a great work done were wickedly persecuted in 19th century Britain.
May be you have heard about this revival.
The lecturer cites contemporary sources /books of the past worth reading as they grant first hand witness of the issues going about.
The words of Scripture being fulfilled, "all living godly shall suffer persecution"
God bless

No, I hadn't either, Sister B. I can only think he made a great pastor, going on his book "Living in the sunshine". He equates that with "keep yourselves in the love of God", and how that works out in practice.

Jude 1:20-23 KJV
(20)  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
(21)  Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
(22)  And of some have compassion, making a difference:
(23)  And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

There's a lot in those verses.

An elderly Christian lady I have the pleasure of knowing, has had a sort-out recently, and she gave me several books, including one short book by Francis Dixon entitled "Living in the sunshine" which is based on Jude 20-23. I was able to read the first chapter this morning while I was waiting for my car to be MOT'd. The garage was very amenable, and the receptionist made me a hot chocolate drink. As I sat down in the waiting area, and began to read, the winter sun flooded through the huge glass windows, and sort of enhanced the book I was reading.
Have you come across the writings of the late Francis Dixon? I believe he was a former pastor of Lansdowne Baptist Church in Bournemouth, England.
Sorry, John, never heard about that name

Quote;
"Scientific advances enable us to know the moment an egg is fertilized, when the embryo attaches to the lining of the uterus, and when a baby’s heart first beats in its mother’s womb. All the genetic information you and I possess existed at the moment of conception.

All we will become is present from the first instant that the mother’s egg is fertilized by the father’s sperm. This includes personality, body size, color of eyes and hair, basic intellect, etc.

Science indicates that the baby’s brain begins functioning enough to generate measurable brain waves (electroencephalographic [EEG] impulses) at 40 days. Additionally, the baby’s facial muscles move, even appearing to form “smiles” as early as 12 weeks.

Leaders on both sides of the political debate acknowledge that science has uncovered many amazing things about human life, but science alone cannot settle the ultimate questions about the sanctity of life." answersingenesis.org/sanctity-of-life/abortion/fighting-abortion-the-measure-of-a-just-society/

To 'remove' a life you must KILL that life.
Abortion is murder.

A great testament to the fact that these people, the liberals, are so filled with hatred and have a hatred for Christianity as defined by God's Word. The ironic thing is that it's not like they're all Athiests either, as the bulk of them actually sit in a church on Saturdays/Sundays, so go figure.
I fear many who inhabit church buildings and pews have not been born again.

It all comes down to how you define a theist; someone who believes in God, or someone who merely believes in the EXISTENCE of God.

There is an eternity of difference.

Praise the Lord for men who will faithfully preach the gospel at the murder mills & saints who will up lift them in prayer & encouragement, to declare the urgency of why one is utterly hopeless, apart from Christ accepting them first amen.

Worthwhile watch in seeing How God uses His people at murder mills, to bring Light, into a lot of darkness, that only can be changed by the power of Christ changing lives amen.

Speaking of murder, a couple of hundred dead in Egypt mosque attack. A couple of hundred more eternal spirits awaiting the lake of fire, and getting a test of it right now. How sad. I can't even imagine crossing over and realizing that something is very, very wrong. I remember after Anton LaVey had died, his nurse commented that at one point very shortly preceding his death, he looked around his room and said, "No, no...something is very, very wrong". How many billions over time died having no doubt their way was the way, with most of those ways being mere inventions of man in more recent times. Tragic.

While Planned Parenthood is responsible for the murder of millions of children, Answers in Genesis, in contrast, "wants to help reach as many children as we can with the life-saving gospel," Ham said.
"We want to see as many children as possible saved for eternity," Ham concluded. "And the more children who are won to the Lord, the more young people we'll see building their thinking on the Bible. As a result, we pray there will be countless others ready to oppose the open sacrifice of children that is such a blight on this country (and other nations)."

Planned Barrenhood will take money targeted to kill black kids by people calling to specifically kill blacks.

Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood, the leading organization advocating abortion in the United States today. Darwinism had a profound influence on her thinking, including her conversion to, and active support of, eugenics. She was specifically concerned with reducing the population of the ‘less fit’, including ‘inferior races’ such as ‘Negroes’. One major result of her lifelong work was to support the sexual revolution that has radically changed our society

In next to no time, Ken is reported as supporting PP, using "facts". This is just another wile of the devil. And the serpent uses it often in an attempt to discredit God's people or turn them against one another.
