Kids perform better at schools that ban phones, study says

Technically Incorrect: A UK study suggests that schoolkids' performance significantly improves when they can't get hold of a phone at school. It also showed that low-achieving students improved the most.

Performed by the London School of Economics -- an institution that didn't kick me out -- this piece of research suggested that in schools than ban phones, 16-year-olds performed better by a potentially crucial 6.41 percent.

They were very clear as to their reasoning: "A highly multipurpose technology, such as mobile phones, can have a negative impact on productivity through distraction." ...

A teacher jamming cell phones apparently a no-no, but apparently other teachers like the idea. Teacher suspended for jamming cellphone signals in Pasco classroom.

I heard you, but something much worse is heavily on my heart than people bowing in worship to their smart phones so ...
If you don't mind please be much in prayer for me and other serious/committed believers in the area I live in.

It is heartbreakingly a heavily ecumenical area. The Pro-Life community is infested with people of ecumenical bent are abusing genuine Pro-Life ministry to silence (hijack) a real preaching of the Gospel, because it "offends" false Christians of various denominations and is a wonderful antidote against a bewitching ecumenical unity between false Christians and genuine

BTW Imho "Babies are Murdered Here"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxDyfSHEq5g
gives a far better Biblical Pro-Life consideration than the don't offend anyone sort

And back to the tread
"You might actually be Jesus' disciple indeed if you are truly born again of the Spirit and spend more time with Jesus in the Word of God, in your Praying, in your witnessing and service than you spend on your smart phone"

Hmmmm, I think I will remember smart phones in talking with people about idolatry. Hmmmm, as grieved as I am with Roman Catholic idolatry, seems a cell phone can be every bit as bad and/or worse than these bathtub shrines with their statues of Mary that some local Roman Catholics put up on their property
Hmmmm, much to learn and grow up into

"Kids perform better at schools that ban phones"
What's amazing, is this comes as a surprise to anyone. Productivity is likely diminished by as much as 80% by those who have their face in the phone all day.

In just one day: Waiting at a light, a lady in an SUV runs a red light (face in phone) nearly hits a j walker (face in phone) Drug deal going on in front of courthouse, cop misses everything (face in phone). Go to the pool six lifeguards(face in phone). Go to store, cashier (face in phone) go to the bank teller (face in phone). Go back home, red light out, cop directing traffic? (face in phone)stop by subway, server (face in phone). Go to bookstore (people walk I, and all through the place never taking their, you guessed it(face out of phone)
.Google; how do I breath, Google, what is my name, Google how do I walk.
