House passes gay hate crimes measure, sends bill to Senate
Despite objections that it would infringe on the religious liberty of pastors and other faith leaders, the U.S. House Thursday passed a defense bill that includes historic hate crimes protections for homosexuals.

The 2010 defense authorization bill, which passed 281-146, has little if anything to do with hate crimes but is being used as a vehicle to pass hate crimes legislation, which was attached to the defense bill. The defense bill (H.R. 2647) now goes to the Senate, where a similar version already passed earlier this year. ...

I did vote. I voted for John McCain. I doubt JM would have helped this situation.
These hate crime measures are a necessary part of the NWO. Our hopelessly corrupt government will stop at nothing to pass these damned bills. To sneak this in the way they are doing tells you something about the character of the scum running things. There is no hope in our current system and all the people care about is Facebook, TV and ‚ÄúObama-Money‚ÄĚ.

Christians need to pursue God FERVERENTLY and pray. Our Government is toast. Brace yourselves for what is coming after Obama’s scorched-earth economic policies. Once everyone is being spoon fed Gov. money they will have no right to direct policy. They will take ALL our rights away and churches will be so politically correct that the word of God will wither and die in them.

I never used to believe that the government would chip people and such, but what are they doing today? Running up unimaginable debt while still talking of universal socialized health care? They are selling out our children’s future while their fat rear ends get fatter and fatter off our tax money and their oh-so-wise investments (CORRUPTION!).

God used the "means" of Judas Iscariot to deliver his Son to the Pharisees, and he used the "means" of the Pharisees and Pontius Pilate to murder the Lord Jesus in order to complete the perfect sacrifice for our salvation.

So, does it follow that "therefore" Judas, the Pharisees and Pilate ought to have done what they did? Are they guiltless because God used them as "means"?

[QUOTE]Well put. Christendom is looking to government (republican or democrat) to reform what cannot be reformed because of the fall. Take the blinders off. Bush, Obama: They both are--and can only be-failures in God sight. Too many christians haven't yet grasped that.

1Pet 2:11 "Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation"

The "House" is obviously anti-Bible at present. But does the nation get the government it deserves from God, iaw Romans 13?

URGENT! Contact your Senators about this before they vote on it. I've already contacted mine. Tell them to vote AGAINST this defense bill since it contains hidden "hate crimes" legislation. A simple call or email will do.

"Lobbyists for homosexual organizations for years have supported expanding the hate crimes law but have failed, either because Republicans controlled Congress or the White House, or both. But with Democrats in charge, their prospects appear good. If the bill becomes law, it would be the biggest federal legislative victory for homosexual organizations to date"

GOD STATES
Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

Deut 23:17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God."

This is not hate or crime.

This is truth according to God's Holy Law.
