Miss Calif. Says Traditional Marriage Answer 'Cost Me My Crown'
Miss North Carolina Kristen Dalton was crowned Miss USA on Sunday, but the big story to come out of the normally politics-free telecast was Miss California's comments regarding gay marriage.

When asked by judge Perez Hilton, an openly gay gossip blogger, whether she believed in gay marriage, Miss California, Carrie Prejean, said "We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite. And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

Keith Lewis, who runs the Miss California competition, tells FOXNews.com that he was "saddened" by Prejean's statement.

"As co-director of the Miss California USA, I am personally saddened and hurt that Miss California believes marriage rights belong only to a man and a woman," said Lewis in a statement. "I ...

Update: According to BBC, topless (barely covered by arms) photos of Carrie Prejean were just published on a website. They were taken while she was doing lingerie modeling - at age 17! Clothes off, below legal age ... isn't that child pornography? Yet she makes excuses for it...

Also, she is accused of violating her contract in unauthorized media appearances. Whether specifically true or not, I do suspect that Christians these days aren't taught anymore to "fulfill their vows" - contracts are so boring, so non-spiritual.

Little wonder we are commonly thought to be shrill, hypocritical flakes!

"Those Christian zealots never learn
Their public heroes crash & burn."

florence nightingale,

the china missionaries
Mildred Cable
Eva French
Francesca French

or fanny crosby

yes she really made a difference denouncing homosexuality in forthright biblical terms quoting the appropriate scriptures and putting that greasy fag in his place and exposing him as an agent provocateur.

wasnt it great to hear her preach repentance to the tv interviewer ? ...oh no wait ...oh i cant believe it im waking up ...it it was all a dream .. the fags are all laughing at a grubby self loving hypocritical harlot and the sinners are turning away smirking, those that claim christ are making mockery of the gospel ah well back to normal then

So you think this woman was persecuted for her so-called faith? This woman who had a breast augmentation, who dressed next to nakedness...this is a Christian woman in your book? And she suffered persecution because she...didn't win the crown? Tell that type of persecution to a true blood bought born again believer in China, or Iraq, or Turkey, etc. Tell that to the loved ones of those who've been martyred for their faith in Jesus Christ.
If this woman had a saving faith in Christ, she would have never been in the pagan pageant in the first place. She certainly would not have paraded across the stage nearly naked, flaunting her 'new additions', and stirring lust in the hearts of unregenerate men everywhere. True women of God would never be a stumbling block to any man, they would honor God's word on modest dress.

Are we to be proud of her near-naked appearance, or perhaps her breast augmentation just weeks prior to the pageant? Is this the way the bible says women should dress, by placing emphasis on breasts, and nearly exposing them on national television?
For guidance, we need look no further than God's own word, 1 Timothy 2:9 speaks clearly on how women are to dress. Anything outside those guidelines is sinful.

Hello, Charles,

Hope you rested well last night. Sounds like yesterday was a trying day for you. 3 Big Macs. . .you were starved! Lack of sleep and food tries even the patience of a prince.

Go to YouTube and type in Keith Green life story. That should get you there. There are 7 parts. Stick with it, they are in 9 min. segments - the first couple describing his life before he became a Christian. He was one who looked for truth through experience. When God saved him, he devoted himself to studying Scripture. He was a remarkable man in the way he lived out his faith in ways radical to most walking the Christian walk. His tragic death in 1982, at 28, has left an impact remembered even today.

The story is told by his widow and best friend. His music is a testimony to God's work in his life.

Thank you, Miss California, for having the courage to stand up for your convictions. And a double thank you for standing up for God's convictions.

We praise you. But of course God's favor on your life is much more important to you and for you. May you follow him always.

I appreciate your publications ...
Thanks for the encouragement regarding our publishing ministry, however, you seem to have misunderstood my comment.

I was referring to all the eternally lasting fruit of the Covenanted Reformation, throughout the whole world, since about 1638. This is real revival and was a small foretaste of what is to come when "it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it." (Isaiah 2:2).

Moreover, the lasting fruit I was referring to includes all the people saved as a result of this great revival of truth, as well as all the personal, family, ecclesiastical, national and international Reformation and sanctification that has taken place (in accord with Scripture), in many nations, since 1638 -- all to the glory of God (cf. http://www.swrb.com/newslett/freebook/covref.htm for more informa

The "fierce blond" Taitz was not dressed scantily in that photograph. So what is your problem with Taitz?

Guinness,

"Lasting fruit" indeed! Looks like RPNA(GM) self-destructed after a mass excommunication (by email, it seems).

http://reformedveritas.blogspot.com/2006/11/rpna-to-rpnagm-chronologytimeline-under.html

This seems to be the same power problem I've seen among Baptists.
