Hello The verse you cited (John 15:5-6) makes the point very well. The branches wither. Why? Because there is no life remaining in them. The life in Christ is that of the Holy Spirit. Such branches, by being disconnected from Christ, do not any longer share in His Spirit. The Spirit does not depart from a believer, so you will not find a verse that affirms that. However, the Spirit may depart from a former believer who has apostasized. This happened to Saul (1 Sam.16:14), and David feared it might happen to him after his sin with Bathsheba (Ps.51:11). Anyway, I wasn't around more that a year ago so I can't comment on what whatever Ste. was trying to say, but I can comment on what I do see. In short, I see passion as opposed to conflict.
Also, I've never seen him be rude to Yurich...only helpful in comparing his wayward, faulty views to what the Bible actually says, as a whole, which, by the way, he couldn't care less about. He onle care about three or so versus which he thinks support his views. Everyone is wrong but him.
