Still in need of a more accurate name. Just because those things happen and are legal does not mean that is what the flag stands for. Nice try though. You would not state it stands for any of the good things that happen and are legal here. Can't be two-faced in your opinion.

there was slavery during the time the U.S. flag was flying does mean that what it stands for. There have been murders all throughout our history but the flag doesn't mean the U.S. flag is a symbol of murder. Same could be said for stealing, adultery, drinking, and any sin you care to name, that doesn't make our flag the symbol of those things.
