Jim, Kefer is one of the best things you can drink for your health. It sounds like your North American ethnocentristic values have drowned out any common sense regarding food quality and practices. It is time to go back to the farm and relearn what it means to live in harmony with the land and our bodies. It is perverse to think that modern standards of food production are actually healthy for you, for modern technology destroyes almost all nutrition in food. Americans have alot to learn about real living food. Look around at most SBC pastors that advocate your position on food; do they look healthy?
The view that there will be a secret catching away of the "Church" is put force by the cult of dispensationalism which arrived in America from England in the early 19th century. They believe in two different salvations; one for the church and one for the state of Isreal. Galatians and Hebrews makes it clear that there is one true Isreal which is the Spiritual Seed of Abraham which are those in Christ, from the time of Adam to the end of this age (people of faith). Thus there is no need for a rapture and then a third coming of Christ. Christ will come back at the end of the age in the second resurrection to claim His Church, those who are dead in Christ, will rise first, and then those who still living will be caught up to be with Him, then the dead without Christ and the living will be judged. The bible talks about the second coming of Christ, that my friends is the end of the age. The new age that is coming is Heaven where we will be in pure fellowship with our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Christ. And yes, the Church of Jesus Christ will go through the Tribulation.
God is in no party in America. When a people have lost their moral bearing, the constitution will not work. There is not future in the Republican party; they are the same as the Democrates; that is why nothing gets accomplished. Or what does get accomplished is completely unconstitutional, encluding all the iligitimate wars.
Do not trust the people who are in power to inforce the constitution on freedom of religion. The time is coming and is here now where anything that the church might say will be considered hate speech. Just look at Canada!
Here is a question for those who follow Christ; should we as Christians used chemical birth control (Pills/inplants) or mechanical birth control (IUDs)? Does participating in the deeds of the world attest to the witness of Christ or of Satan? We are to run from wickedness, put off the old man, the deeds of the flesh, cultural polution that we are born into. Forget about the RCC; but consider the finger that is pointing at you from the RCC regarding birth control. Do they have a point? Some times the world asked questions regarding the pratises of the True Church of Christ because the argument is legitimate; if you are of Christ, then why do you manifest the deeds of the flesh(abortion, infantacide). The truth is you have been caught with your hand in the cookie jar and you choose to deny that fact. You American Christians do not want to deal with the abortion issue. You like the freedom (bondage) that it gives you.You feel good to protest against abortion clinics, but you will let your wife take those little blue pills and kill the life that God has put into your wifes womb. If only you would read the white paper facts sheet that comes with the birth control pill box.........................Sometimes repenting is hard when you are so trapped in it.
Are you saying that there is no "rapture" before the tribulation? Looks like there will be no left behind people. Wow, to think that the Gospel is so simple without all the Larkin charts. Looks like the dead Dispy's will be the first to go; they will be really surprised.
