Staying home will not save people. Salvation is a gift of God through Christ's sacrifice on the cross. There is nothing we can do to be saved. But in an ironic way, blatant evil is the Christian's opportunity to illustrate what evil is. Even though evil will exist until Christ comes back, we don't have to give him (satan) all the ground. As long as the motivation is love and truth for our lost neighbors, that's what they will see.
Looks like New York won't need a police department anymore..........or IRS collectors, prisons, parking tickets, judges, lawyers, human resource departments. No more need for locksmiths (won't need locks on doors), street lights or mess of other things, because the great people of New York are all now "good". Crime will go down to 0% right?
I am assuming that they will burn all translations (ie Spanish, Dutch, Korean language, etc) from all over the world too, and demand that all people of all nationalities learn old English in order to read the bible? If they are so concerned with perfect purity of every word, I think they should burn the KJV as well, and demand that everyone learn Hebrew and Greek, and then we will read directly out of the original scrolls.
While the church ho's and hum's, Satanic groups out there plot to win over and use our children. Yes, it is better to just remain quiet. The great work of Christ is just within those four walls and everything else belongs to the prince of the air.
I am so glad there are people standing up and trying to make these things public. Many of our younger generation today have never seen anyone with the courage to stand up for the truth, have never seen an example of the boldness we see in scripture. When we speak the truth, when we defend the innocent, we are representing Christ rightly.
But if she got a Gardisil vaccine and died the next day, pharma would get a good write up in the local newspaper and no one would bat an eyelash. And the next day the local doctor would give another girl the same vaccine. Why are our children dying of asthma, autism, diabetes and cancer? What are we doing to them??
We should find it disgusting, because we are only to worship One, the true One. As Corrie Ten Boom used to say, "the only place where we can live as one in peace is in the Kingdom of God" (I think I got that mostly right!) The world is looking to who they will put their trust in. Without Christ, who do we have but a fellow man to look to? But Christians do not have to be duped! In Communist nations, the great leader demands ownership of your land, your profits, your children, your thoughts and your emotional allegience.
Mike, Yes, thank you for clarifying---our gov's volunteer us to take these chemicals FOR OUR GOOD! I mean all this global warming stuff has nothing to do with making you or me healthy! So we used to call it a group of people overthrowing a nation, now we call it, UMM, "survival of the fittest"---those who survive the scientific attack on humankind will get to take the spoils.
Global warming is a political process for moving power and wealth from a national system to a global government. Political/financial leaders who push this would increase pollution in order to increase death rates. If you are worried about pollution, quit dumping hormones and flouride in the river, and don't give your children's money away to a group of people who would prefer that they never be born.
Yes, Daniel chose to be thrown to the lions rather than worship the great leader over God. Mao Tse Tung, Kim Jung Il, it is worship of the God-Man leader. It is religion where government is God over the people. Communism demands the minds and hearts of the people, it isn't just taking more taxes! American Christians are frightfully ignorant about this.
Deut 9:10 "So the innocent blood will not be shed in the midst of your land which the LORD your God gives you as an inheritance, and bloodguiltiness be on you." Our God asks us to love Him with everything and to love our neighbors. Evolution calls for the survival of the fittest, the strongest must stomp out the weak. The gift of clariy is given in the contrast!! Our God is good and holds those millions of babies in his hands, the ones we destroyed. Jesus is the only true light of the world.
This has nothing to do with being a Republican or Democrat. The Congress gave trillions away this year. They have given away our economy to private interests. Money is power, you know. What government are you all exactly talking about?
The actors pledge to the President. They make a solemn vow (that's what pledge means) to the good leader. Have you all seen the actor video yet????????? If he had the children's good in mind, he would teach them to make their vows to God, to respect their parents and teachers, and to love their neighbor. The only pledge I ever remember making was the pledge of allegience, and my wedding vows. No leader has ever asked me to say a pledge before them. My husband swore to tell the truth in court before, but his hand was on the bible, not on the picture of a leader. I think I may go reread the book of Daniel tonight.
This little girl is a hero in my book! I pray that the Lord Jesus will continue to grow her in a mature relationship with Him! There is a whole line of Christians before now that have stood before the courts of man and proclaimed the gospel, and she has shown more boldness that many of us!
Rapture theology is an American idea I think, maybe I am wrong. Does anyone know of the pre-trib rapture concept being taught in North Korea, and other troubled nations? The rest of the world goes through tribulation every day for loving Christ. Actually, many Americans do to. It is not a shameful thing to suffer on behalf of our Savior for the sake of His Kingdom; it should be considered a privelege. When tribulation comes to each family they will hopefully realize that it has always been about Christ. God does not need to bring back sacrifices, or hold sinful people on earth for 1000 years. It has always been about Him restoring ALL that is lost FOREVER, through His Son (I mean restoring all that belong to Him) End of the bible describes it all, New Heaven, New Earth, New Jerusalem......the real has always been what is to come and the earthly things in history the beautiful picture through a broken lens. Atheists are basically making a joke of the great American religion that has taught us for 100 years that if we are good people and go to a good church we will never have any serious problems. Love and Justice demand more. Scripture becomes a beautiful story with one developed theme and an incredible Author.
