I will be unable to support Santorum as he said the killing of a nuclear scientist in Iraq as a 'wonderful thing' and he would be willing to send troops back to Iraq. We should have never gone there in the first place. I will NOT support a war-mongering president!!!

John Y. I don't thing this website is mainstream. That is an awful thing for them to say and should be retracted. I don't see why anyone would run for public office in this country. It's gotten down right ridiculous. The entire process has really left a bad taste in my mouth for politics!!!

When KY legalizes same-sex marriage, will these IFB denominations require compliance from all of their member congregations? Because, "Bylaws can't run contrary to local, state or national laws."
Actually, Goods, Kentucky had a vote about 5 years ago that made marriage between one woman and one man. This actually became part of our state's constitution. This not only fixes the 'same sex' problem but also keeps Mormon's from practicing in our state.

Thanks John, I didn't read the decision or anything. We live in a small rural community. There is even a manger scene in our county courthouse yard. I don't believe anyone in our community would complain about the church having services in the local school. I believe that by letting other organizations use the school and keeping the church out is a bad decision bordering on discrimination. I hope they can find a new place to worship!!!

There is a Church in our community that has a combined service at a local school on special occasions. They have gotten too large for their church building for everyone to attend at once. I wonder how this will affect them?

Wow Mike, I went back and re-read the article and you are right. Does that make me a flip-flopper, maybe I should get into politics.
This does make it a bit different. Why would one attend such a conference???
I guess I'm still not convinced about turning people away like that however.

I respectfully disagree with his tactic's Ms. Wittman. Boldness is important, no doubt, but I feel it can be doled out with kindness and caring. If we turn away people with questions who will be there to talk with them. I guess I've had questions, especially when I was younger, and now I'm very grounded in my faith.

I just know if I look at someone that is overweight and tell them they are fat and need to lose weight, would they be apt to work our and watch what they eat or want to punch me in my nose?

Well put John, couldn't have said it better myself. Hatefulness will bring hatefulness, and it will not further the Kingdom. That is our primary goal!!!

Rufus, the Illuminati never was mentioned in this article, it's what alex jones talks about. It's his rant. I guess he just doesn't hold much stock with me. I don't believe there is a few really powerful people controlling the world. I don't believe in ufo's either. I think alex jones is a moron that want's ratings. I don't particularly care what egypt calls their security force.
I do believe every word breathed from the mouth of God. Sent to us from His inspired word. I don't think that Homeland Security is some dark force repressing the people of this country. I bet if there is another attack on this country, and I pray there isn't, people that buy into this junk would want to know why our government, which works better than any other government in the entire world, wasn't protecting us. While they cut all the taxes at the same time by the way.

I felt that Sermon Audio was better than to post something for the likes of Alex Jones and his money bomb network. Guess not!!! What's next, Coast to Coast?

Will you elaborate on what is "embarrassing" exactly? Is the report in error? Did Egypt not rename it's domestic security apparatus "Homeland Security"?
Nothing is wrong, if you want to think the world is being run by the Illuminati and get into all the conspiracy theories that is fine. Please don't mix it in with the Gospel message, which I'm assuming you are on SA. It's bad enough we quit preaching Jesus in the pulpits of America and started preaching politics!!!

I'm not sure how long I can continue taking SA seriously if they keep posting stuff from the likes of Alex Jones and infowars. This is just embarrassing!!!
I've heard some churches are showing his video's now.

"protesters called for improved relations with police." So you are going to protest for better relations.

This sounds a lot like what's going on in France. I just don't think we have the same relationship with the Muslim's in this country. They are not as accepted and trusted here!!!

We all fall short. I think every political season has brought out the Christian in most politicians. They feel it's just another tool. I constantly pray for our politicians and our country.

That is just it Jim, I think that the majority of Christians or self-proclaimed Christians in America think this is the way to pray. At the national day of prayer I drove by our courthouse and actually saw people prostrate while praying. We have forsaken the prayer closet for public acceptance. We can contribute this to another SA thread about everyone owning a bible and no one reading it!!!

True, Michael, without a doubt Jewish and Christian persecution is everywhere. The news media is the biggest perpetrator. Our lord has warned us through scripture to expect it. We should always be in prayer. I was not trying to admonish you in anyway. I respect your opinion always brother. I just thought your comparison was a little over-reaching.

Michael Hranek, I really feel that you are over reacting. To compare someone coming forward and accusing Cain of something sexual in nature and the persecution of Jews and Christians is a little ridiculous, don't you think? Maybe Cain was your guy and these allegations may hurt his presidential bid, but to make this comparison is just plan silly.

Oh my goodness, are you asking where is the Christian love??? Thank you 'Hate in the Christian Community'. Perhaps we, as Christians, should look for the light in our own hearts before we shine lights in the world. We know they are dark!!! We should be different.Thank you for your post.

By the way, I still have an aluminum tree!
