This is a new way for me to look at the Psalms This pastor drew me in by preaching about his revelation that he had been pursuing works righteousness, but Christ used this sermon to show me that it's not I who should feel blessed for being like the good person talked about in Psalms, I should rejoice in the fact that Christ is that good person the Psalms is talking about. Only Christ could fit the righteousness that the type of person the Psalms says is blessed and favored of God.
I no longer read it as a checklist or way of gauging my standing before God. My standing is and always will be (without Christ), "Filthy rags".
Great Sermon! Hello Pastor Richard! My name is Joey, I am a Pastor in Stockton, CA and I listened to your sermon "Unsearchable Riches in Christ" and I a a huge fan of you now! Praise God for your ministry. You are preaching grace to the fullest. I grew up Pentecostal but never really felt drawn to them because of there judgements on people based on works and performance. Would you mind listening to a few of my sermons from Comeback Kids Ministries? I am Non Denominational but I believe in the FINISHED WORK OF JESUS CHRIST! GRACE!!! THE GOSPEL!!! I have made you a favorite of mine on SermonAudio now and will be tuning into everything you minister. Please pass up o our doctrinal differences and please let us bind together because of Jesus! Pastor Joey Bauer!!!
Glorious Truth My wife and I are excited to hear more of Leviticus. We glory in this Gospel we heard you preach.
We have a web-site called Grace Truth Ministries, we once sent you a package of booklets, but you stopped for reasons that the Lord taught us. Of the great error of those Sovereign Grace Pastors who preach Christ was made a sinner. We abhor and totally reject such error. May the Lord continue to use you as well as Bill Parker and the Eager Ave. teachers to bring out such precious truths as we continually hear.
Great Sermon! i just got thru listening to this sermon & i burned this sermon to a cd so that i can listen to this sermon as often as i can. much truth in this sermon. especially the catholic church - this church fits the passages in this sermon. the catholic church is filled with so much paganism and superstitions. they know who Jesus is but they constantly add so many lies to the message that Jesus told us in the bible. any church that adds to His good news does not put their faith and trust in Jesus' saving blood sacrifice.
Great Sermon! I love this sermon. I am astounded each time I think about Christ's righteousnes, that His rrighteousness was imputed to my account, that He became sin for me, His substitutionary death, my propitiation to appease God's just wrath against me. Oh yeah. Astonished He didn't let me stay wallowing in ritual Roman religion but plucked me out and revealed Christ and His righteousness to me. Astonishing.
