It is the greatest treasure to my soul. Thank you for this sermon, as I love to hear it again and again. It cost God everything, His Son, to give to us eternal life. We need to look at the joy we shall receive in the earth made new, and see Jesus, when we get discouraged. The wedding feast and the wedding garment provided by God Himself is wonderful to think upon. When we see Jesus it will be worth it all, even all the sadness and trials that we experience in this life, as it will soon be over. I listen to them several times a day. They are food for my soul. Oh yes, I listen on my computer when I wake up at night. Not only am I sick of this wretched body but I am sick of the sin sick world. So much sorrow and sin, I long for heaven. I just want my loved ones there too, even my enemies that do not know what they are doing. May God enlighten and open their hearts and minds to the truth of the reality of life, and of Jesus as their Savior. Thank you for your inspiring sermons. Don't be discouraged on Mondays, as there is someone you are truly helping out here in cyper space. Thank you!! I'm a political person and speak out against our leaders every chance I get when they don't agree with what the Bible says... Thank you for showing me Proverbs 21: 1 and how I should be handling these issues as a Christian. MUST hear ” This sermon 'clearly' shows from the Bible why some get saved and some don't, according to the Bible, and not the easy believism of today. He does it so gently, I was in shock, but he showed man's spiritual death, will and need of God in a way that your kids will understand. Truly Election is supported by this sermon from the scriptures, as God calls his chosen to come to him and we become his sons and daughters even though we are not truly acceptable in ourselves, just like Mephibosheth. Truly we have all been crippled by sin and our only hope is in the mercy of God given to us freely because of the covenant made between God and His Son before the foundation of the world. This sermon is so encouraging to the repentant sinner, and may God be praised for Brother Jeff Arthur's sermon that is so inspiring and helps us to continue to walk in the pathway of righteousness. Truly our reward is great, greater than anything this sinful world has to offer, which is returning to dust, as it is only temporary. I believe God and His mercy are greatly glorified in this sermon. God bless you richly Brother Jeff Arthur in your work for him. I am truly blessed by your sermons. I have suffered from anxiety for four years since the death of my son, and many other things that have happened to me. Anxiety has taken me over, and I have prayed and prayed. I feel like your sermon is an answer to my prayer. I see that you preached it back in 2006, but it has blessed me today greatly. Thank you so much, and I will listen to this sermon again and again. May God bless you and your family and your father and his family as your sermons are true blessings to me. You will just never know how much. Jeff Arthur 1 comment “ Great Sermon! ” Brother Jeff, I have been preaching on Romans for 5 1/2 years and am currently on Romans 11. This lesson with its four questions were very appropriate to dealing with the truth about God's Israel. Of course, we were able to answer those questions because of our detailed look at Romans thus far, and best of all you confirmed our own understanding and virtually all of what I have been preaching about for these past several years. The New Covenant makes all the difference, as does the 'glasses' we wear because we have read and understand the New Testament.
