Basic Information
Introduction
St Mellons Baptist Church is a group of around 100 Christians who share the same experience of salvation in Jesus Christ and commitment to Him. None of us were born Christians, but each of us came to an understanding of our need of salvation at different times and in different ways. You can read some of our stories in the Real Lives section.
We meet regularly (twice on a Sunday and during the week) to worship God. We also enjoy fellowship together, and are committed to reaching out into our neighbouring communities of Old St Mellons, Llanrumney and St Mellons, and to the wider district of Trowbridge, Pontprennau and the smaller villages to the North and East of the church. We run a large Sunday School, a toddler group, a variety of clubs for children and teenagers, as well as a coffee-morning, and lots more besides!
Visitors are welcome at all of our services, and it is usual for us to have several visitors and friends of the church at each of our services. If you don't already attend a church each week, why not come along to one of our Sunday services at 10:30am or 6:00pm?
If you are new to the city perhaps as a student or taking up a new job then we trust you would find a warm welcome at any of our meetings. If you are coming to Cardiff on Holiday and are searching for a fellowship to join with during your visit, then please, take up our invitation and join us.
