Do we truly understand who Jesus is and the position he holds in heaven? Or are we are led astray by images in our minds conjured up by religious movies, Sunday school books, or stain glass windows. Many of them are indeed false. Our visual imagination of who Jesus is can mislead us and have disastrous consequences in our spiritual walks. Therefore , any attempt to imagine Jesus other than what scripture describes him is a false image and amounts to nothing but idolatry.
