Sometimes we Christians do this, sometimes we believe we can be more spiritual, know His word better, or can debate well. But sometimes it's out of selfish ambition or possible monetary gain. With our sinful nature this gets the best of us and we think highly of ourselves, this is something we ought not to do. We need to repent, preach the gospel and be a servant, and think of Christ high and lofty and not ourselves!
