Just as in the Bible we see that there is more than one gospel, there is also more than one rapture, and it is only through rightly dividing what we read in the context that we read it in can we discern the manifold differences. Things that are different are not the same, and that is our starting point in our look at the raptured outlined in scripture.
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJB)
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking at the manifold evidence for the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, and well as evidence for the post-Tribulation rapture of the Tribulation saints that we read about in places like Matthew 24. In the rapture of the Church, Jesus comes for us Himself, for the Tribulation saints He sends an angel. In the rapture of the Church, we hear His voice ringing out like a trumpet, the Tribulation saints will hear an actual trumpet. After the rapture of the Church, a 7-year period of judgment follows. After the rapture of the Tribulation Saints, a thousand years of perfect righteousness follows kicked off with the Battle of Armageddon thrown in at no extra charge. Just one catch though, if you don't follow Paul's command to 'rightly divide', you won't see the obvious difference between the two raptures. Yikes, did I just say 'two raptures'? Nope, there's more than that.
