The final details of revelation given to Daniel carry forward to the conclusion of God's program with the nation of Israel in the final seven year period before the return of Christ to the earth. Daniel's people are forewarned of the danger and distress that awaits those who fail to repent and turn to their Messiah before those seven years. The surviving remnant of the tribulation period will have no other means of rescue so will finally turn to Jesus Christ as their Messiah by faith as they finally acknowledge Him for who He is and what He has done for them, and consequently trust in Him as their Savior and coming King. Daniel was told that Christ will return 75 days after the seven year tribulation period. Some activity will be done during those days to prepare for the establishment of the millennial kingdom before the first phase of the eternal kingdom begins. These activities would seem to include cleansing the earth and the temple; setting up a government for the millennium; the judgment of the nations; and duties of those who will live in the kingdom will be assigned. Upon Daniel's request for an explanation he is told to seal the book and no further revelation was given to him. More detail would not be revealed until the first coming of Jesus Christ by His very self and then elaborated on to the apostle John on the island of Patmos.
