This fifteenth strophe (Ayin) in Psalm 119 teaches us to trust in God, who will always deliver His servants from every evil according to His Word. The greatest deliverance that we can enjoy is deliverance from the power, guilt, and dominion of sin. Sometimes the Lord humbles His servants for a season, by setting them under cruel leaders, even tyrants, that they might cry out to Him for help. God's deliverance may tarry, but it certainly comes--to those who trust according to His Word! In this sermon we glorify God our Deliverer.
