The distinctiveness of the "Person" of God the Holy Ghost is found in His particular attributes as displayed in His Equality, Unity, and Obedience to God the father and God the Son. In His work of pointing to and exaltation of God the Father and God the Son, and His love and care for His creation, in Oversight, Comfort, Intercession, and Teaching and Maintaining. It is still true today! This same Mediator who is in you by the power of Christ, and the Decree of God the Father. This One Spirit! Intercedes for you with groaning's too deep for words! You can trust this God as The Son Trusted the Spirit, to take Him through the heart of trial and temptation. Through pain and distress, misery and wickedness. Through the loss of family, friends, finances. When sea's rise and mountains fall, when children die, and cancer comes. When pain and sorrow strike, and you fall down on your knees. When the doctor tells you he can do nothing. Beloved, please! When you can do nothing, and even today, before that day comes, and it will come, I promise you your worst day is right around the corner! Do you have your Theology right, is everything straight in your head. Do you know who owns everything and holds you in His sovereign hand? Do you know who allowed you to fall into this, for your own good? Do you trust God to take you through this for His glory and your righteousness? Please look to the Man of Sorrows as He did everything by the power of God the Holy Ghost. Without measure, He did this as another example for us to place our faith and trust in Him.
